We stayed at the Pelangi in for 12 nights and thought the place was lovely! The staff were very friendly: always saying 'hello' when passing. The breakfast was immense! There was plenty of choice of different nationalities of food (the nasi goreng was the best!) There are restaurants on site, but also plenty of choice further along the beach. We had a lake room which was only a short stroll from the beach through beautiful, well-tended gardens. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beachfront location perfect. I would recommend the Pelangi Beach to those wanting a peaceful, restful holiday.

Truly relaxing holiday in every sense. Excellent food, though expensive to malay standards. Excellent location, just on the edge of the resort, but not too far to walk.
Everywhere was spotless even the beach. Couldn't fault the hotel staff, even at 1am - when we had a bat in our room!!
