Qawra is a small area perfectly suitable for a quite holiday. There is more to do in Buggiba if a more hectic time is the object of the holday.

If you like McDonalds and Pizza Hut then this is the place for you.

Resort was ok, but not very pretty. We felt very safe walking about at night, even down backstreets, but very disappointed with Malta as a whole, which resembles a building site in many places. Plenty of bars and shops to visit but time share salesman are everywhere, which may spoil some peoples holiday.

We liked St Pauls Bay as it was on the fringe of busier areas if needed. but nice to stay in a quieter area. Friendly fishing village with a choice of good places to eat and drink. Some modern development but also more traditional local parts as well. Loved the place, people, views, seafood and wine, Will be back.

St. pauls is great BUT why don't the locals have pride and clean the rubbish up. The harbour could easily be cleared of rubbish once a day and would look terrific but instead the water is full of plastic bags and rubbish! Makes no sense. Dog fouling is a real problem.

to go to Buggiba was a hilly walk hard for hubby to push. there was a disabled bus but you never knew when or if it would come. Holes dug in road without any caution notices one lady fell and hurt herself badly.Traffic was hit and miss just waiting for an accident to happen.the view of Pauls bay was lovely and the gorgeous colour of the clear sea was wonderful. would choose a less hilly area if we ever returned.Met lots of people who have been going for years so it does work for some it is just a hit or miss.

The resort was nice although the main road was a bit scary! it was small, but just a short walk from Bugibba! I personally wouldn't revisit the resort.

St pauls bay and nearby Bugiba are wonderful places. No beach but then I dont like the beach. People are friendly and there are a good selection of restaurants and pubs. area has been refurbished and it is a plesant place to just spend time.

The resort is my favourite not a lot of nightclubs but plenty to do day or night and easy access to all parts of the island on the fantastic buses, there isn't any beach as such just a few rocky areas which are still suitable for sun bathing.
The beach at Golden Bay is ideal and only a short bus ride away.Been to this resort twice and would recommend it.
