This hotel was just across the road from the wedding reception we were attending. I already knew what to expect- tired, outdated room. The new owners are starting to renovate the hotel. The bed was comfortable; there was a flat screened TV, tea and coffee; a lovely big mirror which had no electric socket near it. Bathroom is small but clean. Very thin walls and also our room was above the popular bar and you could practically hear what everyone was saying but as we were late back anyway it didn't bother us.
We were able to get an early check in which was really convenient for us. The breakfast was very good indeed - lots of hot and cold choices. It was included in our rate. But £7.50 if you had to pay- very good value.
