Myself and Sam got just got back from a weeks holiday.
We found everything about the holiday was spot on - apart from the food, often undercooked - the loction was perfect, just a few miutes away from the beach and shops.
The hotel rooms were clenaed daily, apart from Tuesdays, and were done so to a very high standard
the staff were brilliant - especially Neil who never seemed to stop working, we wondered where he got all his energy from!!
The minute you finished football he would pester you to do waterpolo!! he was fantastic with the kids and made a great clown for the mini disco (the words to them songs are stuck in my head!)
I'm definately booking again, maybe go in the summer as was a bit dissapointed that major clubs and watersports were closed!! however we made some grat friends out there; Mel, Neil, Ryan, Mitchell from Kent; Kim, Tony Danni and Dana from Coventry; Kerry, Lenne, Mccauly and Hollie from Leigh; and also the Scotland crew, too many to name but you know who you are!!

This was a really memorable holiay!
First of all the cleanliness in the hotel was superb throughout the whole week, a pool clean was carried out EVERY morning by a number of people.
Rooms cleaned every day and change of towels etc also every day.
The food was also of a very high standard. Breakfast was lovely if you could manage to get up, cannot really comment on lunch as we just had bar snacks most days-these also were very nice, burgers and toasties etc.
Evening dinner also very nice. There was a wide choice each meal you had though.
Cannot fault the location of the hotel as it was a two minute walk to the beach, although you do have to pay for sunbeds.
The hotel staff were absolutly brilliant, they really made sure we had a great holiday. All super people, especially neil the main entertainer.
He is great and he really did make the holiday worthwhile-stay in touch amigo! Also the bar staff were great, antonio and SEMI especially, we would often go out with neil and a few of the bar staff after hotel entertainment finished in Cala llonga.
They are all very special people.
Entertainment day and night could not be faulted. Neil and Olivia work very hard and it shows. We as adults enjoyed activities and my 12 year old brother loved it also.
All in all this was a super holiday and we hope to go back as soon as possible. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all ages.

Ages of party 47, 53, 13 14 days stay The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful.
Room was very spacious although furniture and fittings dated but still in good condtion. Entertainment was good with a several outside shows and the hotel entertainment staff were good and worked very hard and in my opnion second to none.
Bar & drinks were ok with a good selection although one of the bar staff was to friendly with young girls (13- up). One of the best all inclusive hotels for being served very little queing. Restaurant and food. Restaurant very clean and spacious although disapointed with food because it was often cold.
I cant remember the last hotel I stayed at were you were not up at crack of dawn to get a sun lounger, loungers available up until about 10am. The hotel had some lovely touches laundry free and they also would supply the washing powder. Pens etc for playing bingo were supplied free unlike other hotel I have been at. Reception The staff at reception were very helpful and always worked hard for you to enjoy your stay.
The only complaints about the hotel was its in Cala Llonga (dead) and it served the food quite cold and the meat quite often was to tough to chew.
I have tried to give a honest opinon of what I experienced at this hotel and resort so others will be aware of what they can expect.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. Rooms & Public areas.
Location is good. Not to far from the beach or local shops.
Staff nearly always smiling. Nothing was to much trouble.
The only slight grumble was the food. I dont eat meat and I was fed up with pickles / salad every day. I dont like chips either which were there at EVERY meal time. Nice fresh fish nearly everyday. The rolls at breakfast were a bit hard....
We are certainly looking at booking up again next year.

We 3 stayed at the Club Playa in September 2005 14 nights. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The level of service by the staff (bar restaurant entertainment and of course the cleaners) was top notch, there is not one fault that could be found amongst any of them! They all worked very hard to make your stay an enjoyable one.

I am 21 and my boyfriend is 23 and we stayed at the Hotel Club Playa for 7 nights. Our first impression when we checked in on the 30th September was that the reception was full of young youths running about and swearing! Once we was comfortable in our room we felt much better about the hotel itself! When it came to cleanliness the hotel was very clean. Well in need of a refurbishment but it was very clean. Change of Linen/towels 6 days a week. No change on Tues.
The hotel food was nice although could be repetitive. Plently of variety and good food for children. Excellent choice for vegetarians as I am not a great meat eater so that was great for me. One thing was the snack bar - the burgers were uncooked. My boyfriend got one for me and it was completely pink and wasn't even hot. He was absolutely disgusted, took it off me and threw it in the bin. I didn't eat anymore from the snack bar after that!

We stayed all inclusive, clean hotel, food was excellent, but not for veggies, had terrible time living on chips, or salad, but the drinks went down well.
Hotel has a few gift shops around right on the beach with water sports available, hotel entertainment was brilliant for any age, the poor staff must be exhausted after keeping the youngsters entertained all day and night.
All the staff were friendly and worked hard to make your stay pleasurable. The pool was small considering the size of the hotel, but noone ventured into it because of the temp, ice age rings a bell there.
You see a few planes going over but just really a rumble then they are gone. Once you are there then you are there, we hired a car for a few days, wish we hadnt, nothing to do or see, dont go filling the car up, we drove round the island for 4 days and the petrol just didnt move!
Went to ayia napa nothing like you see on tv, very quiet, busy at night. Went go karting just outside cala fun for all ages, expensive but a must for a change from the hotel.
Not really for the young teens, hotel entertainment to boring/childish and adult time too embarressing!!! nice just to relax and drink. would I go back? more places I want to see I wouldnt rush back.

This is the second time that I have stayed here and I was loving it!!!
The hotel is kept spotless!
The food and snacks are fabbi!
The location is great the shops are just outside the front door and so is the beach near enough and the funfair was still there!
The staff are amazing! The are so friendly! Especially the bar staff!
The entertainment is brill! Neil is so funny and a great clown at the mini-disco!
I might be going back again next July I was trying to book up for October but the hotel is fully booked and I am refusing to stay elsewhere but I suppose that shows what a great hotel this is!!!

We had a really enjoyable week commencing 14th August.
Everything was excellent. Food and staff. We felt that entertainment could be provided in the "air conditioned" Bar for those who just like a singer or comedian.
The holiday camp audience participation type isn't to our taste however you cannot fault the hardworking Neil & Olivia.
The younger guests we felt could behave a little better with regards the 2 lifts by not calling them to floors that it is not required on and generally not playing in them. There are plenty of notices requesting this.
Only complaint was that you had to buy a lilo to make the sunbeds at all comfortable as matresses were not supplied and had to be grabbed at 08.02 am or you would have little chance of obtaining a spot you liked.
