Hotel was very clean the maids were friendly, hotel staff were friendly.
The food looked great but im a fussy eater so found it hard to find something I liked other than chips. My partner & children found it was ok bit dissapointed that we didnt get drinks with our dinner we had to pay for them which I thought was bad, drinks n snacks in the hotel were very expensive people were going to the local shops and buying them as they were cheaper.
The entertainment during the day was the same stuff day in day out but the entertainment staff did put their heart & soul into there jobs, so thanks to Fairy (Claire), Johnny and Jade.
My son wasnt really interested into kids club so cant really comment but when he did go I had to que up to put his name down for the next day which I thought was a bit stupis but then I suppose it gives eveyone a chance so ok if kids are into going to kids club.

Returned from two weeks stay at the presidente last weekend and had a fantastic time. the only things I can pull it down on are the location, its gorgeous but very small, just the square with a few shops and bars but was exactly what we were looking for.
Food was fantastic, on the second week I expected a re-run of the week before but it was different each night, couldnt fault it, alway veg dishes, fish, checken, red meat, salad loads of desserts and fruit, fantastic.
hotel itself is lovely, rooms are basic but nice, great view from the pool area but the drinks are expensive. We bought from the spar near Del Boys and paid 4 euros for 6 beers and it was 3 euros for 1 in the bar! its also good for fruit shoots for the kids.
Kids entertainment was fantastic, they loved it, particularly fairy who they adored, adults entertainment we found a bit hit and miss, some fantastic some poor!
All in all I would recommend it but with caution on how small the place is, but if, like us, this what you are looking for its ideal

The hotel rooms, although relatively basic, are clean. The maids are in every day and are very friendly and helpful. The main areas of the hotel are also kept clean. The bedrooms have an air con button which gives you 2 hours at a time.

The restaurant is air conditioned, however, the food is not as we had expected and it is nowhere near the best food we have ever experienced abroad. To be blunt, it's like a school canteen with some very rude people and children who are unsupervised. The food was bland and often luke warm. There is always fresh salad, which to be fair was lovely, but there is only so much salad you can eat. The "potato's" were always in a gravy and the meat choices were nothing exciting. There was always a fish option, however, in the first week it was hake 6 nights, in the second week, it was hake 6 nights ...

If you want to go abroad and eat English food, then you might enjoy it more than we did.

We were so fed up of the food we ate out most of the last week, and by all accounts, missed out on nothing.

If like us you were hoping for a proper little spanish Taverna/Tapas bar nearby ... there isn't one! There are only a few bars and restaurants nearby and little choice as the menus are all fairly similar.

The drink prices in the hotel are very expensive. 3.80 Euro's for a large beer which is not the best beer and served in a plastic glass!! If you go down the hill to S'Arenal you can have a frozen glass with very cold beer in it for 3.50, but you can get a pint for 3.00 Euros if you look around. A lot of people brought their own drinks in Boozy Buys and drank that instead of paying the hotel prices.

The entertainment team Fairy, Johnny and Jade all worked very hard and did a great job, some of the acts afterwards were ok, others a bit dodgy, but overall pretty good.

The only rep there who seemed to actually be happy or give the impression she knew what she was talking about was Charlie ... I'm sure if the others actually cracked their faces and smiled it would have struck them with lightening they were that mardy.

The kidzone reps were good fun and Kelly and Ben inparticular seemed to make much more of an effort than the rest of them.

The Razzamatazz girls were fantastic, our daughter went and loved it, it's amazing what the children learnt in just 6 hours. The first show was HSM, the second Mama Mia and the third we saw was Oliver. Well worth the 29 Euros for the 3 days.

If you want to get a sunbed by the pool, set your alarm early because by about 8am the second week, there were just the odd few beds free and it was getting earlier ... I'm glad we prefer the beach.

If you see the masseuse on stage, give him a try, he's great and not overly expensive.

There is a playground for the children off to the side of the area the evening entertainment is held, but a word of caution, there is very limited lighting of an evening which means it is pretty dark up there. Next to the hotel is another complex, but between the two there is a kind of open "building" site (although nothing is being built) and easy access can be gained between the two through a little gate in the fence. This was found open one night and reported to the reps and eventually 24 hours later and having spoke to another 3 reps and finally suggesting to them that they at least cable tie it to secure it until it could be properly fixed, they did.

All in all it was a nice holiday, we had a nice time and met some really lovely people, but we will not be returning and wouldn't recommend it.

We visited Ibiza fro the first time. We had expected a great location and great hotel. we were very disappointed. The food was very bland and the resturant although bright and very cool was full of flies. Drinks very expensive and most people purchased drinks elsewhere rather than at the hotel. Rooms are very basic and it seems that you have to pay for any extras. Air conditioning only lasts two hours which means you have to keep switching back on.
you need to be up by 6.45am to get a sunbed if not you will not have one all day.

The football guys were fantastic and kept my son busy all week if not i dont know what he would have done.

There were several incidents were guests became violent and the hotel staff just did not want to get invloved. it did mean that we felt very unsafe. The reps also did not want to intervene when some guests just kept getting more and more drunk.

Not a place I would ever visit again or recommend

Family

Great family holiday mainly due to Kidszone (kidsclub) that has a Creche right up to 12 year old group activities.

Adult and kid joint activities on most of the day that are good fun too. Our 4 year old was in "Tots" for 3-5 year olds and staff were superb with session 11am to 1pm each day, then an option of 'drop in den' for 2 hours at 4,30pm also.

Entertainemnt in evening was a hit-and-miss for us, but we were in minority as most lapped it up. Kicked off on an outside stage at 8.30pm (bit late for the 50 or so pre-school age kids there in June08) with Mini Disco and game. 2nd show for grown ups (and all the family really) was 9.45 - 10.45, with hotel club anthem at end of night (Big Fish Little Fish!).

Music outside went off at 11,30pm. 3 main entertainment team worked really hard all day and night (Clairy-Fairy, Jade and Johnny), with professional acts brought in for about half the evenings, and Reps doing the other nights.
Hotel staff? All pleasant and Emma at reception was English so easy to communicate. Table service for outdoor evening entertainment so you never even had to leave your table for drinks.

Hotel location? OK its on a wee hill, but there are a few less steep options up new stairs either side of El Greco hotel that sits in front of Presidente hotel. Resort is quiet - that is well known - a handful of bars over other side of beach, but if you walk in opposite direction of 'main square' you find a 2nd smaller beach with another few shops and bars/restaurants, so there are options if you explore a bit.

Hotel food was very good. Not a huge choice, but plenty of it. Veggie section, plus a fish dish, 2 meat dishes and pasta most nights. More than a handful of dessert options plus ice cream too. Separate kiddies food buffet also, and microwave available 24 hours for baby jars or baby milk.

Hotel cleanliness was fine in main areas. Given hotel rooms were small I'd have expected a bit more dusting to have happened, but cleaners in rooms tidying every day. There is also washing machines on 2nd floor opposite lift -So if you are going for 2 weeks you need only pack for a week!

Overall, I'd give 4 out of 5 as another swimming pool is needed as its a bit cramped getting a sunbed, plus the hotel rooms are small and not originally built for families to stay in. Kids reps made the holiday, and as I said Entertainers worked really hard to please.

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Presidente and much like the other reviews about the hotel there's far more good than bad.

Starting off with the good.......

The hotel is very clean and nothing appears to be too much trouble for the excellent staff. On arrival we discovered that the patio door did not lock and it was seen to immediately. The air conditioning unit didn't operate (has a timer switch for 2 hours), we advised the hotel staff of this and it was attended to. One 'tip' on the air conditioning, if you want to have the aircon on permanently, the breaker and timer are positioned just under the unit, behind the curtain. If you set the timer to maximum, it will run without switching off. You will have to switch the aircon off using the breaker but this is easy to do and saves you getting frostbite during the night.
The rooms are cleaned every day, the cleaners do tend to want to get access to your room fairly early so a lie in after 9am is often interrupted by a knock at the door, to be fair if you tell them to come back later they will.
The pool area is large enough but can get busy. We ddn't have a problem getting beds and you can't reserve sunbeds until after 8.30am. In the height of the season in July and August I can see it getting a little cramped but it shouldn't spoil what is a nice pool area. There is a park for the kids as well as a baby pool for the toddlers and babies.
The restaurant is spotless and offers great food, and plenty of it. The breakfast is excellent, offering a full english to lighter snacks and the evening meal offers a good choice of food. The food is probably some of the best I have eaten in a hotel restaurant of this type and you will not be disappointed.
The entertainment for the kids is great, kids disco every night at 8.30pm, followed by the main entertainment starting at 10pm-ish.The main entertainment comprises a mix of Thomson 'home-brew', local and UK acts. The efforts made by the reps and entertainment staff are top drawer but one or two of the outside acts don't work for the mixed adult/child audience. One or two of the comedians struggle as they clearly tone down their act, the traditional Spanish night is old hat and the Miss Carly act is clearly suited for an adult audience. The best nights are usually the 'home-brew' nights and there is a game show night every two weeks which is just brilliant.

Take advantage of the towel service, 10 euros deposit per towel, change them as often as you like and get your money back when you leave. A great service even if it does give you a carbon footprint the size of Botswana.

The views from the hotel are stunning as you overlook the bay.

Now the bad...........

The bar prices are ridiculous. They are charging 3.80 euros for a pint of lager (

We thought this hotel was fab! Very clean and comfortable accomodation. Hotel Food was the best we have ever had in Ibiza, excellant menu each day, really lovely food. The location was almost right on the beach, with lovely views across the bay. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Staff were most helpful at all times. A very well run hotel. Entertainment we felt was pretty good considering we went right at the end of the season, there was plenty to do.

The reps really look after you. We would most certainly go back again. If you have booked this holiday, you will not be disappointed. The hotel has a great gym, where you can work out every day if you want, and a jacuzzi just outside.
