Presidente Hotel 4T (3* Official)
My wife and I have visited this hotel from as early as 1992 when it was a Thomson Summer Sun. We have visited on two further occasions since it became a Super Family hotel and we go for a third on May 12th 2004.
As a family that requires lots for the children coupled with the necessary level of calm for yourself then the Presidente fulfils your needs. The hotel is a really good example of spanish hospitality in a surrounding that retains a little of the traditional spanish feel as well as accomodating those that relish modern features and extras. No it is not the Hilton but you will be hard pushed to find a more relaxing place to stay.
Entertainment is good and frequent, food is both modern and traditional and the children have never complained. The pool is excellent as well as safe and the play area in view from around the pool bar and terrace area.

The hotel was great and I would go back there by choice on every holiday in the future!
It was a great family place and the staff were extremely friendly.
The pool is wonderful and the view from the hotel is amazing. I met a lot of new people there and cant wait to return and see them again. The staff there are very welcoming and I am missing them loads!!! :-(
It is the best holiday I have ever been on and the hotel itself was extremely good. Very clean, tidy and was much better than I had even expected!

Just back from a wonderful 2 week stay at the Presidente. Great comfortable hotel with great staff and service. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Our daughter is just one and this was our first trip aboard but it was actually quite relaxing for us surprisingly. I would recommend it with no hesitation.
The Thomson Team of 18 reps (especially Jo and Neil)work so hard to make it a special holiday and thanks guys you did a good job.
Word of warning though if you are veggies like we are let them know before you arrival by writing to them. As long as they know they will make a special effort for you.
Can't wait to go again.

This was our first "family" holiday, and to be honest I wasnt expcting much, but was very pleseantly surprised. The hotel was clean and bright, the staff and reps very helpful. The food was excellent with lots to choose from. The creche was brill, giving us time to relax. 15 euros for 2 hrs, expensive but worth it. The hotel is on a hill, and the walk to the beach with a buggy can be hard, not too bad with 2 adults and 1 child. The beach is clean water clear and sand great for making castles. we found Del Boys to watch the footie, was hubby was pleased. not lots to do in evening, but the entrtainment was good enough. We brought spirits in the shops and hired a fridge in the room, to make our bar bill a bit cheaper. We will defintaely be going back. I would say book with confidence!!.

This is the second time we have visited this hotel and we were pleasantly suprised to find it was even better than before. The cleanliness of the hotel is spot on, the staff are very helpful, and there is loads to do day or night. My only gripe with this hotel is that it is located on a hill side, an extremely steep hill down to the village or beach.

We had a great holiday at the Presidente! We would all definitely recommend it! Holly and myself made some great friends Eduardo and Vincente..Hola! Carole the older member of our group also really enjoyed the holiday.
A bus service in the evening from Portinax was our only complaint as taxis to San Antonio and Ibiza town were expensive, but definitley worth it! We even made it back for breakfast.
The food at the hotel was great. Very varied often with a free champagne/sherry/cocktail!
The cleanliness was very good in the rooms and in all communal areas.
The bar area was washed down twice a day.
Fresh towels everyday and maid service.
The entertainment was good.
The beach in Portinax is lovely. Scuba diving was great, but we did see some big jellyfish canoeing!!
The walk up the hill just built up our appetite for our dinner, it is steep but good for all the lazy people moaning about it!! There are ramps all the way for disabled users, it may be too steep for elderly but you could always drive back up!

Myself, husband and two kids stayed at the Presedente for the first time in the summer. Starting on a positive note, the entertainment was great. The staff however, were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The food was average, chips, chips and more chips.
Now for the downside. Whilst we were there a significant amount of people were ill (including my family). There was continuous poo in the pool, which was fished out and shut down for a couple of hours!! Disgusting. My 2 kids and husband returned from holiday to be admitted to hospital, because of an illness picked up from the pool. The cleanliness of the toilets was eghhh! I would certainly NOT recommend this hotel.
