After reading some negative reports I was really worried, however the holiday turned out to be a fantasic one.
Yes, the room was basic, but it was sufficiently clean. Crochery and kitchen area was clean, fridge was temprmental but floor was a little dusty. The maid came daily, accept for Sunday and was very friendly and accomadating. The main complaint about the room was that there was no air-con.
We had a leak in the bathroom, wich was caused by the aparment above. When we complained, the problem was resolved immidiately and efficiently. We were very dissapointed with our room view though, a derelict pub was not pleasing to the eye!
Pool area was a little dangerous, due to a green matting, however everyone stayed away from that patch. Besides from that, the pool are was brilliant, with plenty of beds, umbrella's and seating area. Also groundsman collecting litter hourly.
Food was okay, but as a self catering holiday, we only ate a few snacks at the bar.
We found the staff very friendly and welcoming. Other guests were also very friendly.
The hotel's location is fault less, within 2 miniute walk of all your holiday need's, such as bars, pubs, restraunts, crazy golf, bull bar, shops and much more. We also recomend ferry trips to San Antonio.
Even though we had a fantastic holiday, the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. There were no stories of break- in's whilst we were there, the security guard on duty every night made us feel very secure.

The location is spot on but unfortunately our room was 'grotty'. Very dated and not very clean. Not the nice wooden type doors and furniture you usually get in Spain, more like a 1980's council flat.
The staff were great and the pool was nice but there's no lifeguard on duty.
Also the locks on the balcony doors were in poor condition and not at all secure.

I stayed in Hotel Las Perlas. The hotel was outstanding. We met about 15 friends and have all agreed to visit this hotel next July. Unfortunately there has been rumours the hotel may be getting closed down. This would be terrible, especially a hotel like Las Perlas. We met great people and the staff were excellent.
The rooms were in perfect condition. I could not complain. Hotel Las Perlas should not be closed down. I have visited Ibiza the last five years and Las Perlas was the best hotel I visited.
The entertainment this year was magnificent. We had a great laugh and great fun. The bar staff were brilliant to us, they were really friendly and helpful.
The hotel was perfect as it was right on the beach front. The hotel food was great, everything about Las Perlas was amazing. I do hope it will not be closing down because I can guarantee myself and all my friends will be there next July for another amazing 2 weeks.
We met people there who have visited Las Perlas for the last few years and we are going to arrange to meet up with them again at Las Perlas.

Very disappointed with the basic rooms, have stayed in better 3* hotels than this one, needs a refurbishment badly, new kitchen, bathroom definately needed, bidet leaked over floor continuously for half the week.
Pool was dirty for first couple of days until some kids complained then a man came with a little net and scooped out some debris!!
Hotel is in a fantastic position at the edge of the sea so it's a shame really, we were told that the hotel is up for grabs, so maybe that was the reason it was so 'tatty'. San Antonio Bay is a fantastic place and I love going back there but won't be staying at this hotel again - The Bergantin, down the road, is fantastic!!

Overall the stay at this hotel was very pleasent. The location and staff were all brilliant and could not be faulted.
The cleanliness of the rooms was poor.
We did not eat at the hotel or use the entertainment provided so cannot comment. however, we did see the menu and the options for vegetarians was very poor.
The pool was a good size and very clean and the beach was only a stones throw away.
The hotel and resort as a whole is suitable for couples.

Ive stayed in this hotel thats why I have come back the staff were absoloutly brilliant eg Paco, Manuel, Ivan!!
The food was fantastic I thought the hotel is really clean and so near to the beach and shops,pubs etc,I would recommend any 1 to come to Las Perlas as we all had a great time.

The hotel was generally pleasant although we were a bit disappointed with our room. Really needed air con as the fans just circulated hot air and although we left our balcony doors open all night it was still stifling.
Also although we weren't broken into the balcony doors didn't lock properly and the doors were not very secure so we were a bit worried about leaving our stuff.
The reception staff were fantastic and the rest of the staff were also friendly.
We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food.

The pool was great and very clean, loads of sunbeds and whether it was the time of the year or not there were not loads of kids jumping in it all the time which particularly annoys me so I found it great.

Las Perlas was much nicer than we expected. Rooms were quite basic but adequate. Doors had to be left open at night as the rooms were quite hot even with fans, but on most nights this wasn't a problem, occasionally we were woken by loud shouting from one balcony to another! but we were in the holiday spirit so didn't really mind. Staff are absolutely brilliant, always polite and friendly, especially Manuel and Rafael who were a laugh a minute. Hotel was clean and airy. Food was excellent and we all found something we liked most evenings. Location is ideal with lovel views of the bay and a ferry right outside to take you to San Antonio for just 2 euros! Only let down was the entertainment although the staff did their best with the equipment provided. Would definately go here again if it wasn't for the fact that we like to try somewhere different each time.

Entertainment was fantastic and should be in the skytours book, had a childrens club 2!
Every night had a show or quiz, FREE bingo and a mini disco. Day time entertainment including darts, pool, pool games, childrens club, archery, pistol shooting, french bowls, water arobics and more.
The pool was deep 2m but did have a childrens secton too (50cm). A lot of sunbeds too.
All the staff were really friendly but entertainers were so great!!! Not aloud to say the name but she was from holland and spoke really good English and was fantastic!!!
