Just returned from our third visit to the Lagomonte and it was as brilliant as ever.
This time would took family and friends including 5 children under 10, 5 parents and 4 grandparents all with very different tastes and expectations ! Everybody had a great holiday and this hotel performed well in all areas.
Entertainment was fantastic thanks to the enormous energy of Zakk ,Tiago ,Regina ,Jo , Jade and Karis. Highest complements go to the head chef for a wide and varied menu that kept us all fuelled for the next days activities.
As most other reports will testify this hotel is spotless, as its 'army' of cleaners are relentless in scrubbing, mopping and polishing everything in sight. In fact all staff were very efficient from receptionist to pool cleaner, with a friendly "Hola" whenever paths were crossed.
So many people we have met at this hotel that have been numerous times before is a testiment to it's great reputation, the bad reviews seem to come from people who think that just because they have booked all inclusive they should get five star and be treated like royalty.
All in all this was another fantastic holiday at a great hotel and we shall be booking to return next year.

well the bad points the pool too small the kiddies pool very small forget it!! no sunbeds after 8 30am food ok but you must like chips,dining room to small and no air con in mid summer,iff the hotel is busy be patient for your food the biggest problem is they are far to many uk poeople who think all inclusive means imm gonna be rude eat and drink till i cant move and just be bad mannerd and i will forget about the kids typical brits!! i am english thats why the hotel is like it is the brits are greedy and bad mannerd and mostly well rounded.hi would reccomend this hotel iff you want to eat drink foget about your kids and smoke etc go for it and dont even try the snack bar over the bridge entertainment poor but for the price what do you really want thats the good pointd

We transferred to this hotel from an unsactisfactory hotel in Alcudia. What a difference - this hotel has high standards, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food good, lots of choice and all appetising. Drinks not watered down, lots of variety and good quality. Room cleaned every day, maids very friendly.
Evening entertainment not brilliant, some visiting entertainers good, but other evenings relied too much on the guests being willing to make fools of themselves on stage.

cleaned daily and staff fine this hotel is well worth a visit if you are after a cheap holiday it was better than i anticipated after reading some bad reviews. nice location, not too busy and good food. the drinks in the all inclusive were fine, not watered down in my opinon and cold. i went october so i can see that in the busy summer it would be quite packed, visit may or sept/early october as the pool is small but we were okay as it was end of season.

We stayed for a week with our little 3year. Hotel was spotless clean,with clean towels everday etc, maids were so nice spoke to us every morning, rooms was nice clean,but the beds were like sleeping on a deck of a ship! our backs killed time week was done!
Food was not brill lunch time meun was burger chips had enough of that! every night the same dinner but different meat! By the end of the week we could not wait to get back and have proper dinner down us,we got sick of the same, we went to jolly farmer a lovely pub and had dinner up there!
Drinks was water down.For the entertainment we kept inside the lobby, outside lots people was smoking, not good to breath that it! A week was just enough, I think we would visit again, but more choice in the food, and food warmer.Our little Boy Loved the ice Cream near the swimming pool only thing he had to eat! lol.
Some of the staff seem nice, jenny the reception lady was so lovely.Our going places rep was rubbish, we only seen her once, to tell us what time we had to leave hotel to go home, never use going places again, she had no time for no one.

hotel was kept as clean as possible.Rooms were very clean with maids in every day,towels changed every day,not sure how many times sheets were changed,No problems with air con.Food was excellent,could not fault it,drinks were also ok,wouldn't say they were watered down.Staff were very friendly and spoke better english than myself.Location of hotel is adequate with courtesy bus to beach every day,packed lunch also provided.Entertainment was not bad although after 2 weeks i was bingoed out.The entertainment team were great especially Klaus & Tiago(full of energy),Up at 08:00 to ensure sunbed & parasol(they were unlocked at 09:00)this was a bit of hassle but not too bad,

first impressions were it looked great, warm welcome when we got there straight into room. rooms were cleaned everyday however the ants remained on the balcony and up the walls and ceillings inside.
Pool is to small for the size of the hotel and it was a fight to get a sunbed around the pool, u had to get up and out for 9 and fight for bed and parasol. Hotel is located about 5min walk from main town and hotel supply bus to the beach which takes nomore than 5mins toget there. u can walk it only takes 10 - 15mins through the town.
Staff were friendly enough but i didnt think the entertainment staff did enough to get kids involved. Joanna and Klaus were the best didnt think anything of jumping in pool and having fun with the kids but the rest were to made up with make up and never realy seemed happy to be there.
Food- Bad same food everyday they just changed the meat.
I would definately not visit again as i think its a bad example of an all inclusive hotel.

I thought the hoilday was good overall, all though the food and the entertainment let it down. The entertainment was ok but it repeated the same stuff over and over again like every 2 nights.
The staff were very polite and the food was OK.
I would probobly visit the hotel lagamonte again and Alcudia is a very clean and family orientated place.

This was our second visit in 6 years and we found the facillities and especially the food hadn't changed whole party really enjoyed the holiday, especially the fact u can go across to the island and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel pool & bar..
The food was very good, the kids are very fussy and they ate well every day!!!
The entertainment was pretty poor I have to say so we went out and about the resort which is alive with family friendly bars and restaurants..
The one thing that lets it down at times is the fact that they seem to let children do whatever they want, running around at night, slamming doors, shouting and just generally being a pain..the parents don't seem to give a damn as long as they are left alone to get hammered on the local plonk.
The reception staff were very polite & helpful and the cleaning staff worked very hard. The location of the hotel is good,5mins walking distance from the golden mile strip and from the hydro-park...15 Min's walking from beach..

We stayed in this hotel all inclusive, it was absolutely first class,The place was spotless, cleaners on the go all the time, and the food was fabulous.
The location was fine as its about 5 mins to the main street, with all it restaurants, which you dont need as the food is so nice in the hotel.
The staff worked none stop, but not as hard as the onsite reps they alone were a great source of entertainment.
If you asked me if i would go back? the answer would be yes, in fact there were loads of people i met who had been 3 and 4 times, its that good.
