me, my husband my 2 year old Daughter are just back from 2 wks in the Sol Alcudia Center. We all had a great holiday and will definetly be going back next year to the same apartments.
The rooms were clean and spacious (bigger than we expected). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned 5 times a wk. We had no problem with getting a sunlounger this may of been because of the time we went I could see that it could be a problem if you were there at a busier time. But the beach is only a few minutes walk from the apartments which was great!
The entertainment in the hotel at a night time was very poor we gave it a miss that would be the only bad thing I could say about the Sol Alcudia Center, but there are plenty of places just outside the apartments that this wasnt a problem.
All in all we had a brillian time and as I said will be going back again next year!!

The hotel itself was very good, I reckon had seen better days but was still very clean with a very nice reception and bar area.
The pool area was impressive although it looked like you had to bag a sun lounger very early in the morning otherwise you would be disappointed.
The hotel staff where very friendly, esp the cleaners who where surprised to hear us practise our amateur Spanish with them each morning!
The rooms where compact but very clean and the cleaners visited each day with clean towels and made the beds etc. The kitchenette area was very tidy and adequately kitted.
The entertainment on an evening left a lot to be desired but we did go towards the end of the season, some acts didn't turn up and some where more geared up for the over 40's.
If I needed to - I would stay here again, cheap and cheerful place ideal location for families.

We have just returned from a family holiday in the Sol Alcudia Centre Apartments. I thought the hotel was excellent. The air conditioning in the room was a god-send and the room was fully cleaned and beds made every day. The location might not suit everybody, but it was fine for us. We were on the forth floor facing the pool. With the balcany doors open we could hear noice from the nearby bars and restaurants, but with the doors shut and aircon on it was no problem. The entertainment staff were very friendly and accommodating, occupying the kids from 11 to 1 then 3 to 5 every week day. Also the adults were encouraged to join in with other poolside games etc. It was a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. However, the sun bed situation around the pool could be a problem. If you didn't get a bed by about 9-00am ish you would have a problem getting one until very late in the afternoon. All in all I would definately recommend this hotel and staff.

The accomodation is of quite an high standard with good sized rooms which were cleaned 5 days of the week with the beds changed twice a week and towels every day.We found that even though there was a microwave in the room it would be hard to really self cater,this not being a problem as there are loads of resturants within 500 metres.The one piece of advice I would give anyone staying here is to make sure you get a room on the pool side because there is the most disgusting place at the back of the hotel called "Cheers",this bar is open until 4.30am when the drunks start leaving and walking down the road at the rear of the hotel shouting,swearing,throwing stones at the lower windows and even fighting the bottle bank.This goes on for about an hour every single morning.

We are a couple in our mid 30's with no children. We found the hotel to be extremely pleasent, clean, and the staff well mannered and friendly.

This is our second visit to this hotel, the first in 02 it was great, staff were helpful and pleasant, rooms were cleaned, towels and beds changed regularly, but this year rooms were cleaned 4 times week, towels changed 4 times a week, beds changed once a week, two reception staff not very helpful or friendly but the rest of the staff in reception, shop and cleaners were.
Location great, we rang the hotel before our holiday and requested a room on the fifth floor, above reception, we were given one on the third floor, over looking cheers, there was noise until 4.30/5am in the morning, we had no sun on the balcony at all, we had a burst pipe in the ceiling, all of this has put us off visiting again.

My Husband and I have just returned from a really enjoyable and relaxing week at this Hotel. The room was of a high standard a lot bigger than you usually get and looked as though it had recently been refurbished,The kitchen looked brand new and had a micowave.There were 2 aircon units that we left on all day so the room was lovely when we got back.We were on the top floor which I had asked for as i could imagine it to be noisy on lower floors above the games and bar area.Also ask for a pool view as this also looks out to the sea, there are some rooms at the back that look onto a road and Hotel. It was very hot when we were there and the pool doesn,t open untill 9am when their was a mad dash for a sunbed (free) and cushion (1 euro). The pool area was very clean and it's the first time we've had a pool at the right temperature (usually freezing). The daytime entertainment was rather poor especially for adults it was mainly aimed at children, unless you like water polo. The hotel itself is situated in the center of alcudia a short walk to the beach, there is a nightclub called Bells over the road that was open untill 6am and I was woken twice by the noise of people leaving. We didn't try the hotel food as we went out every evening for a meal. The Hotel supermarket is brilliant and good value.

We travelled with Flyglobespan to Majorca in July. The hotel was spotless and towels were changed about everyday. The room itself was good and the air conditioning was bliss.
The hotel was a bit to big for our likeing because we were on the 7th floor. We didnt find the pool big enough for the size of the hotel. We struggled to get sunbeds everyday and you could only get them if you woke up extra early or about 3 in the afternoon.
