Stayed for a week with my husband in April. It is in a lovely position, near harbour and shops.
Food was okay there was always something to eat even salad.
Staff all very polite, especially the waitresses.
Had entertainment a couple of evenings and they were quite good.
The only downside is that it states on website that there are fridges in rooms which there is not - you have to hire and pay weekly for.
Would stay at this hotel again.

The only good thing about this hotel is its position on the front just 5 minutes walk from the harbor. Food was poor quality and never hot, only luke warm mostly and very rare to find a hot plate at dinner and never for breakfast.
Very rude and arrogant drinks waiter at dinner. Hotel was dirty, with manky worn carpets to hallways and bedrooms, light fitting in public area stairway thick with cobwebs for the whole week.
People say don't listen to negative comments made on review sites, well i did just that, and i should have listened, and gone elsewhere. Never again.

Stayed at Hotel Atolon in Cala Bona for a week In September 2009
Lovely small hotel, paid extra for lovely sea view. Staff very friendly, hotel clean and towels changed daily and food of a good standard. Little supermarket up the alley across from the hotel ran by English lady and her Spanish husband does good sandwiches for the beach and airport. Do not visit Carlos restaurant as charge 18 euros for bottle of house wine and 6 euros for a small bottle of water!!!
Short walk to Cala Millor to good beach. Cala Bona harbour area nice to sit out of an evening. Nice friendly staff at Smithys and Argos bar around the corner facing the sea.
Prices in resort still very reasonable considering rate for euro.

We are two couples in our early fifties who visited the Cala Bona Hotel in July 2008. We arrived around 1 30 in the morning and were a bit weary after travelling.On arrival we would have appreciated a light buffet /coffee/tea but were disappointed to be offered the leftovers of the previous nights dinner which was cold and unappetizing and when we asked for coffee/tea were told that was unavailable.You might say not a good start but i am pleased to say that is the only poor comment i have as we had a fabulous week at this Hotel.!!!
