Had 2 fantastic weeks at the Bonaire hotel, the hotel staff were very friendly as were the bar staff. It is a nice spaciouce hotel with plenty of sunbeds and sunbathing areas (although there was a lot of sunbed reserving at 07:00 onwards and not a German in sight!!!! well done us brits for practicing what we preach)

Rooms were as you would expect from a Spanish holiday hotel with the usual amenities, well maintained and clean

The Thomson entertainment team were amazing and worked all the hours god sends to keeps kids and grown ups entertained,to name a few.....Jazzy John,Cheeky Charlie and Loony Lorna <(i think)

Overall I would definatly go back to this hotel as we had such a great time

The hotel was of a very high standard, rooms cleaned 5 times a week, hotel staff very friendly and accomodating, as were the Thompson Reps. Entertainment was fantastic for all ages, with a variety of Thompson and hotel booked shows which were fantastic. Outdoor play area meant you could watch shows while the children played. Main pool area very large but only quite a small baby pool with a fight for sunbeds around the small pool! However there were more than enough beds available, if you are not bothered about sitting near the baby pool. Kids club and creche was a god send they catered very well for all children and the kids loved them.

Brilliant !!! what more can i say , we had been recommenend to this hotel last year it is everything you could want from a family holiday.

Ant we had had antony in our hotel last year and my daughter 6 years had fell in love with him and to our amazment he was in the bonaire this year and reconized my daughter straight away!!! he and the team put there heart and soul into the entertainment well done gang.

The hotel its self is very clean and in a lovely location you only have to cross the road and walk a few steps and your in the town (try the rope and anchor ) lovely food.

The only down side to the hotel is the sunbeds which you get this in most hotels saving them at 5oclock in the morning and the que for the signing in of the kids for the kids club.

But over all a lovely hotel we never go back to the same hotel as we like new places but i would consider going back here.

Thanks again to ant and his team and the kids zone staff.

We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment with a pool view which was more than big enough for the two of us. There was plenty of equipment to self cater - fridge, microwave etc but we tended to eat out all the time. You are given a payment card which can be topped up as and when you want, I found it easier than having to worry about carrying cash all the time. Mind you I did try paying for drinks with the room key card as they are almost identical.

The pool was amazing and cleaned every day. There were loads of inflatables about which I assumed had been left by previous holiday makers and that was great for my daughter. The 'grab a sunbed' situation was silly - I got up about 7 each day to reserve a bed, mainly to make sure my daughter had a parasol to catch some shade. Its all part of the holiday I suppose but a bit annoying when 'reserved' sunbeds stay empty for most of the day. There were plenty of sunbeds all over the hotel, not just near the pool, but not nearly enough parasols.

The staff were lovely, really friendly, as were the Thomson reps. Awesome Ant, Nemo, Groovy Gemma and co really did their best to keep the kids and adults entertained throughout the day.

We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was nice and my daughter enjoyed the kids buffet.

All in all its a great family hotel in a perfect location and my daughter and I cant wait to return.

We returned from the beautiful Bonaire a week ago and have already booked up again for next year!! This was without a doubt the sest hotel/entertainment package we have ever had as a family.
The fun starts at 10.30 every morning and stops at 11.30pm, it was absoulutley fantastic!! Our boys 8 & 3 loved every minute of it. The hotel is immaculate. Our kids had sickness whilst we were there which we were told to report to the Holiday planners, we did and within no time our room had been cleaned top to bottom with fresh bedding, towels etc. Every member of staff was polite and happy, the bar staff were really good with the kids. We paid to upgrade to Hlaf board for 7 nights which was really handy for the kids and meant you were always finished in time for the evenings entertainment. This is where this hotel/thomson did something no other has done for us before.....kept us entertained! Awesome Ant, Loopy Lou and Holly Halfpint deserve medals they were fantastic and gave theirall. Myself and my Husband have never joined in so much! I would reccommend this hotel to anyone with children who are easy going and like some fun on their hols. We made some fabulous friends here and the majority of them have been coming for a few years. That in itself speaks volumes I think. If you can't enjoy yourself here you would be hard pressed to find anywhere you can. Thanks to everyone at th Bonaire for such a fantastic holiday which was worth every penny and more. See you next July!!

We stayed at the Bonaire from the 28th of April to the 12th of May. As a couple in our mid 20's we were abit worried about this being a family resort but as we got such a bargin we went anyway.
The hotel is beautiful with lots of space near the pool and plenty of other places to sunbathe away from the loud speakers!
If i ever have children i would definatly bring them here, theres always something going on and the staff were brilliant.
The room was a good size for the 2 of us and the tv had BBC 1,2 & 3, ITV and news and kids channels. If you use the safe in the room remember its a 6 didget code, not 4 as it says on the instructions!
The hotel grounds were always clean and the cleaners were friendly and said hello.
The location of the hotel was good as you only had to walk 2 mins towards the sea to reach restaurants but it was alot further to reach a beach that had been cleared of all the seaweed.
During our stay we went on the taste of Palma trip. i would recommend this as palma is beautiful with lovely shops (even a C&A!) and lots to see. We also went to Inca market which is huge! On the way back from this trip we were taken to Fiesta Park which is an outlet shopping center, make sure you go to Rack & Ribs if you want food!
If you want to see the caves of Drac i wouldnt go on the trip as its alot cheaper to go yourself. the bus is only 1.60 euro to Porto Chriso and its a 10 min walk from there. It cost us 13.20 euro each all in all.
The evening entertainment wasnt really our cup of tea, we saw the start of afew of the shows but gave up on them quite quickly!
I would definatly return to the Bonaire!!

Bon Aire was great. Second visit for me with a gap of about 5years.
Rooms were well laid out, claun and not cramped.
We were self catering but used the restaurant a few times which was good value and convenient. Restaurant staff excellent.
Hotel overall was clean in rooms, public areas and outside areas.
The location is OK, about a 5 minute walk to Cala Bona with retsaurants, shops and town square. Fo rmore lively stuff its a 20 - 30 minute walk into Cala Millor or jump on the resort noddy train which gets you there in less than 10 minutes. On way back we got a horse & carriage ride once and a taxi once, both reasonably priced.
Entertainment at the hotel was good. Antony was excellent.
Our 4year old loved kids club, at previous thomson holidays he wouldnt go in but here we couldnt keep him away so well done to the kids club staff. Very pleased.
Evening entertainment was mixed, but you always have the option of poppping into town instead so this is not a problem.
When we went we had 4hot/warm days in 10 so didnt have too many problems with securing sun beds.
Go here if you have children up to say 12years.
Overall fantastic accomodation, made all the better by the thomson and hotel staff.

We stayed in the Bonaire from March 7th to March 14th 2008. We were self catering and did not eat at the hotel.
The hotel/apartments were excellent. The staff were always helpful and the place was clean and tidy. Upon arrival we were informed by the resort rep that there is a new style of paying for drinks etc at the comples by giving your credit card details on arrival and they issue you with what can best be described as a hotel credit card. Each time you purchase food or drinks the cost is deducted from the card. This is not necessary if you do not wish to give your credit card details. Cash is accepted at all bars and restaurants at the hotel. You need to book the restaurant the day before you wish to eat though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful as were the Thomson reps.

The grounds are well laid out and pleasant. We did not use the outdoor pool as it was not quite warm enough. We did though use the indoor pool which was free and clean.

The entertainment was average but good fun to watch.

We would visit the hotel again and we would recommend it.

We stayed at the Bonaire{pronounced Boniray}from 2 to 9 Nov.We had a great time at the hotel, the food accommodation and the staff were excellent. You will see all the managerial staff about the reception and the dining areas every day and they cannot do enough for you.The entertainment at night was very good including Russian acrobats and also singers and magicians. The hotel prices may be slightly more expensive than outside but for the service you get,it is well worth it.There are things to do during the day in the hotel,if you are that way inclined.
Would certainly go back to this hotel again and i would say it is great for adults and children.
