Stayed in June 06, brilliant value for money, food was good, bit repetetive by end of 2nd week but same in all AI hotels I have stayed. Snacks available through to 12am. Hotel indredibly clean, staff nice, reps great.
The Kids Clubs reps Emma & Jo are excellent, my kids do not go to kids club normally but I had trouble keeping them out, big thank you to you! Good location, only down side was the noise levels - not a major problem just corridors echo.
Our room was very small for a family of 4 but you don't spend too much time in there anyway. Our terrace was bigger than our room which is a bonus.
Make sure you go to the diving patforms, past the Chinese restaurant, turn right and go past supermarket, absolutely stunning! Found entertainment area to be too small of a night and indoors, gets really hot, entertainment good, all in all one of the best value for money AI hotels I have stayed in, would receommend, you even get sunbeds without a fight.

Just got back from a two week holiday at the cala n blanes and it was absolutely first class.
The hotel was spotlessly clean the maids and cleaning staff were always on the go.
The rooms were spacious and had adequate storage.
We were given a sea view which was magnificent.
The entertainment team were great from the kids club reps to the daytime and evening entertainers.
the evening proffessional shows were to a very high standard. A big thanks to Nina and Loli who made our childrens holiday extra special.
The hotel is situated directly on the beach,you couldnt wish for a better location. Just beware on the beach as the sunbeds cost 8 euro's per day which we felt was a rip off.
Los delfines and cala n forcat are just a short stroll up the road with shops and restaurants.
The food was good but as with all all inclusive hotels does get a little repetetive.

We would definately visit this hotel again it is good value for money.

Although the hotel was very clean it didnt help when they were mopping floors, as you were going for your evening meal.
Staff in restaraunt were rude in the removing of your plate, cups, glass etc while you were still eating. On many ocassions we were asked to move tables as the staff didnt want us to sit in certain places.
Food in hotel was very limited either Turkey or Veal with the exception of 1 night a week when they had a carvery. No children menu was available although in was advertized outside between 1800 and 1900 hours. Ice creams were only available in dining area so when children had been in pool they had to be changed as no wet clothes were allowd in dinning area. No variation of snacks.
I was also very disappionted when although I had booked a family room my children aged 9 /8 were sleeping in the same room as us.
On the whole the worst holiday we ever had.

A great Hotel. Perfect for families
The staff did an excellent job. Kept throughly clean.
Food was good, although could have been a bit better on some occasions. Otherwise, plenty of it
Entertainment area, was a bit small, could of been better, with more tables and chairs etc. Especially in the evening. As we found out as soon as people dived in for dinner at 7.30, they where straight out and organising their tables and chairs for the evening, and not letting others have much of a chance in getting a seat.
The First Choice Reps, are brillll..Especially Jo, from the kids club, 10/10. They where all helpful and every day they had to be put up with being thrown in the cold pool but they always got out smiling.

Just returned from a week at this hotel, had a good time and my 9 yr old twin girls loved it, my nephew age 14 was a little bored at times.
Maids cleaned rooms and made beds every day and changed bed linen every 3 days. Food was fine but if your a good vegetable eater you may struggle to enjoy your meals!! Some days no veg at all!!.
Location is average Calan Blanes has only a couple of shops, a chippy and Churchill pub (hubby and dad had a good night watching the footy and had a great time) also good for the kids with big kids room. Hotel staff were excellent, we have a child who uses a wheelchair and they were brilliant with her.
The hotel is ok for access with wheelchair the only obstacle been the 5 steps down to the dining room but we were allowed to go through the kitchen which was great.
Entertainment was very varied and enjoyed all of it, kids loved the bingo. Would maybe visit again in a couple of years.

My advice to any couples wanting a quiet holiday is, do not go to this hotel. It is very heavily biased towards children,(of which there are very many) and is noisy.
The hotel is dated, and in need of a makeover.
The rooms offered to couples are small with an apology for a balcony. The best rooms with sea views are kept for families. The walls are paper thin and children can be heard running around the corridors into the early hours of the morning. There are no quiet areas in this hotel, just a bar and what passes for a lounge. Children are allowed to go anywhere and do!
We were put into a chalet type room (after rejecting 2 others)but once again it was spoilt by gangs of children and youths rampaging past the door.
In it's favour the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are helpful. The FC rep (Clare from Coventry)was excellent.
The food was dull and repetitive. The bar staff did not know how to serve drinks. My wife had the worst gin and tonic in her life!
Summing up, this hotel is mis-represented in the FC brochure. It is dark, noisy and in dire need of a makeover. The entertainment is very working mens club mentality. We will not be going back.

Nice looking hotel but not very well laid out only got one entertainment area at night so very packed in.
A few arcade games for kids and a pool table.
First Choice reps kids reps do a good job with them Emma and Sarah I take my hat off to you for your happy patient ways well done you were fab
Food very nice but not much choice for kids no fast food on offer so if your kids are a McDonald's lovers nothing here to suit.
Pool very small and beach not very clean.
Hotel staff very nice but one First Choice rep one with very long blonde hair needs lessons in smiling a right misery.
A far walk to the local shops a good 400 or more yards but nice pubs when you get there.

Just got back from are hols and it was great.
Food great plenty of it.

Hotel was very clean; food was good and entertainment was fair.
Extremely disappointed to discover that the drinks were watered down and did taste salty.
Would advise those going to this hotel to pop across the road to the local supermarket to buy a bottle of your favourite spirit!

Can't see why people make such a fuss about the drinks (such a very small part of the holiday), yes, some of the drinks didn't taste quite right but with all the others to choose from this was not a problem.
We went with friens of ours and had a thoroughly good time and would highly recommend the hotel to you all.
The Hotel itself was spotless (including the kitchen) the food was exellent and the maid service wonderful.
The entertainment was not my cup of tea but those that wished to watch it were well entertained.
The children had fun and the club reps were always available. What more could you want !
