The Vista Blanes complex is arranged in 6 blocks around a good-sized unheated swimming pool. We had a ground floor one-bedroom apartment in block 4 facing out from the complex towards Cala 'n Blanes which meant that it was much quieter and more private than those overlooking the pool area and suited us better.
The public areas and the apartment were very clean which is always a good sign and although the apartment main living area is fairly compact, it was fine for the three of us. The kitchen area contained 2 electric rings, a fridge and a small microwave oven. All the kitchen appliances (microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster) were new and all the utensils anyone self-catering needed were provided. There was also an ironing board and iron. The bedroom was a decent size with two 3' single beds pushed together and a good size built-in wardrobe containing a safe which you can pay to use if you want. It cost us 2.4 Euros a day although you get a 5 Euros refund on return of the safe key at the end of the holiday. Towels were changed every couple of days and our bed linen every 4 days. A faulty bathroom light rocker switch was replaced within an hour of us reporting it.
This complex is not the place for a quiet time around the pool - it's too large and lively for that but it is probably nigh on perfect for families with younger children who will almost certainly have a great time with all the kids club activities that go on for the under 12's. Yes, the loudspeaker system is too loud and the 6 days-a-week entertainment certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea and wasn't ours but as a base for exploring the whole of this lovely island it did for us and we had a really great time.

The hotel was clean and although we commented on the staff, we were always out every night.
It is a short walk from the beach which has a delightful bar. The prices on the resort were very reasonable.
We went for a family break and this is exactly what the place is all about.
It ideal for families.
The apartments were clean and tidy.
I would go back to Minorca and if this was available I would go back.
Good restaurants about a mile walk away and very child friendly.

I first visited Vista Blanes apts in 1997 as a single parent and i was hooked.
I have since been back 3 times and look forward to the ideal location, friendly and helpful staff and the general `happy holiday` feeling.
As a single parent, the staff made me feel safe and went out of their way to make a fuss of my daughter. 2 years later, i returned with my partner, daughter, mum,dad and disabled brother. Due to the free child places, my daughter was allowed to take a friend.
The apts are very child friendly, with a great childrens club and Franchesca is priceless. Alex, the bar manager is efficient as are his staff. the area is also adequate for the disabled, ramps being in place around the complex where-ever there are steps. I have returned numerous times to this complex and will do again soon!

The rooms are very spacious and include all the essentials except a TV and air con!The location is perfect for a quieter stay, 2 minute walk to a sandy, rocky cove and 10 minute walk into cala n forcat where there is the aquapark, also a play area for the kids which keeps them entertained at night.There are many of the same all along the long stretch of the main area most of which we tried. We'd recommend the cala n forcat restaurant just up through the shopping center its great for the kids and the food is good and cheap.the pool at the vista blanes wasn't the biggest but didnt seem too crowded and it was all english, and with over 400 loungers their were always some available whatever the time of day.Didnt stay around for the evening entertainment as we walked into town every night.Staff were good and english. We would recommend hiring a car and make the most of the island theres plenty to see and the beaches are great.Did cala n bosch last year and that was the reason we returned this year cant fault menorca its lovely!!!

Been visiting Vista Blanes for the last 10 years as good now as its ever been.
The staff are fantastic and friendly and very helpful, Francesca one in a million a great person. beppe the manager is friendly and runs the apartments exceptionely well.
I would highly recommend this place to every family, we have always enjoyed our stay here and look forward to going back year after year. We feel safe and relaxed when ever we come to stay. All the best to all the staff and hope to see you soon.

Hi everyone, well this apartment was fantastic for my family. good clean safe pool.
The food was out of this world.staff was very chatty and always asking how you were how your day was. general staffing also was also good.
Helpful and friendly, we are returning this September, just had to return. Kids are so excited. The beach is fairly small but clean, and very visable as we had small children.
The walk to shops and the water park was not far away. anyway happy holidays to all who visit this lovely hotel.
