On arrival we were allcoated a non sea view room which was a major disappointment as it did not reflect the standard of room illustrated in the brochure. Complained about this and was moved to sea view room. What a difference. This made the holiday.. Had we been stuck at the back of the hotel with the views of buildings etc it would have changed the holiday experience.
Food good. Never bothered with teh bingo, not our cup of tea.
Location right on the beach which was fantastic.
Great holiday. Cannot stress enough the importance of being on the sea side of the hotel. Worth kicking up a bit of a stink to get good room.

We've just got back from staying a week in the Majorca Beach in June 2005.
The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the main strip, or the more quieter bars/restaurants. The beach is right at your front door, you can practically walk in your bikini from your room to Magaluf beach.
The Hotel itself was very nice, some of the staff were very friendly, others not so, but they are very few!
The rooms are basic but clean, 2 single beds together (usual), TV, bathroom, desk, balcony, air conditioning just about works, but not sure if that was just our room, we made do anyway. I saw no creepy crawlies or signs of dirt, maid service every day incl Sundays
We had a balcony facing opposite side of beach, which was great because after being at the beach you could go back and relax on the large balcony, and get the sun for a few more hours
It was a very mixed hotel, with older couples, families, groups of males/females etc, it wasn't noisy, but the atmosphere wasn't stuffy either.
We were half board, but only ate there a couple of times, and the selection from what we sampled was very good, breakfast was 10/10 and the evening meal had loads to choose from.
There is so much nice restaurants, Mexican/Chinese etc nearby we chose to sample those more frequently, but if your on a budget then the hotel is more than good enough.
If your looking for luxury then this isn't your place, but if it's good location, basic, clean then this place is spot on.

Had a fantastic time at the Majorca Beach Hotel. The room we had was clean and had ample storage. We were fortunate to have a sea facing view which was ideal to wake up to every morning.
The food was out of this world and the menu was changed daily. On the saturday night we were even given steak!
It is located just outside the strip area which was fine at night, we enjoyed 7 nights of peaceful sleep.
We only went down to the entertainment a couple of times as it wasn't that great. Better entertainment is offered nightly in other pubs with professional acts free of charge if you are prepared to run the gauntlet with the pr's!
I certainly would use this hotel again.

The apartments were basic but clean enough, nothing great, clean towels every day was a plus point, the maid did her best, would not knock the effort, the pool was square, and had no shallow end beware if you are wary about been out of your depth, however a lovely beach is a stone throw away, a massive highlight about this hotel. The staff were okay never seen much of them, bar expensive, a dash was 70p, a bit to much, if we were offered this hotel again at the price we got, would go back, it is about 7 out off 10. hope this helps, the location is excellent, quiet enough, turn a corner and everthing is there, the beach is 5star very clean, sloping sands lead you into the water which was fab, my son who is wary off water loved it.

Hotel was in a good location with a view of both Magaluf and Palma Nova bays from the balcony and located directly beside the beach.
Whilst, being at the far end of Magaluf made it peaceful for sleeping purposes it was not 'out in the sticks'. It was also but a short walk to any kind of entertainment or eating establishment. A particularly nice touch was on my husband's birthday. I had bought him a card which he left on the bedside cabinet in our room. On our return after a trip out we were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel management had left a bottle of wine and two glasses for us to celebrate - a thoughtful touch indeed!
Yes, we would return here with no hesitation.

Nice place usually a bit of a walk to the rooms. No Parking available so I ended up leaving the hire car on the edge of town. Very clean everything you need.
Great pool. Great views. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby.
Quiet at night as there are no windows that face the road.
We are looking at going back there in Sept 2004. Take Magaluf for what it is,ignore the "herewegoes" then catch a cab to Portal Vells and see a real beach and eat in Es Repos fab fab fish, what is good for the owners of
