I have just come back from the Don Bigote. It was my hen weekend and there was 13 of us all together.
The hotel is really nice, after reading some of the reviews we were not really sure what to expect but the hotel is spacious, clean and the staff are really friendly.
The pool area is kept clean with plenty of sunbeds, there is also a snack bar and the food is lovely and its also cheap to eat and drink at this hotel.
We stayed half board and I'm a really fussy eater but every night there was a wide selection of food to choose from, the starters and desserts were just as nice aswell.
If you have booked a twin room for 2 the rooms are small but we didnt spend much time in them anyway. The 3 / 4 twin rooms are really big. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we had clean towels aswell.
Even tho evening entertainment is not advertised when we were there they were a couple of shows on in the evening, and there was also a bit of bingo!!
I would defintely return to this hotel.

Even though this hotel was clean and the food and staff were great but I would rather pay the extra money to get a hotel where you can actully move in the room. The room only had about half a foot perimeter round the bed and that was all the living space altough the balcony was a good size. In the shower there was mould on the ceiling and grafetti inside the drawers and on the door. Apart from that this hotel was lovely, would recommend this to people looking for a cheap n cheerful holiday as you only get what you pay for!

Well when we arrived we weren't given anything.
The staff wouldn't speak English to us. Food was disgusting.
Rooms, well how the hell did they pass health and safety?
The cleaners won't clean your room unless your out by 8am.
The pool is full of god knows what. The hotel is a dump.
I'd rather sleep in a tent on the beach!

We stayed at the Don Bigote Hotel for 3 nights for my birthday last year.
It was in an ideal location, only a 15 minute walk into magaluff, or a 5 minute taxi journey which only costs about 5 euro.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, we were not fans of the food as it wasn't very nice, and we ate out all the time.
The pool area is very nice. It is mainly people around 16-40 (young people). I would say it is a lively hotel, and wouldn't recommend it for old people.
We were really happy with the hotel we are returning there this august for my birthday again, and can't wait.

Just returned today after 10 nights at this hotel. We stayed here in 2004 & thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this year was no different.
Most of the staff are the same as before, which is nice.
The food is great with a varied selection and the hotel is so clean, with rooms cleaned every day.
The location is just about right, only 5 mins to the beach but away from the noisy bars.
Our room was on the 5th floor & the views from the balcony were fantastic, overlooking the bay right across to Palma.
Loads of sunbeds round the pool so no need for sad people to "reserve" a bed with their towel, although some people, mainly over 65, still felt the urge to do this. It seems to be a British disease nowadays.
The hotel seems to have been discovered by the over 65's as the bulk of the guests were of this age group. Is Palma Nova the new Benidorm?
The hotel had entertainment every night from bingo to karaoke & seemed very popular.
If you do stay at this hotel especially in September, a word of warning. Don't go down for your evening meal at 7pm, you may get crushed in the rush. We only did this on our last night and the queue was almost out of the front doors at 645pm. After 8pm it's a lot less crowded & there is always plenty of food.
All in all a great hotel and we will be returning next year.

Our first visit to the Don Bigote and from start to finish it was an absolute disaster.
The hotel was filthy both my friend and I got sick and it ruined almost our whole holiday .
The apartments were tiny only enough space to through down our cases and open the door and there were ants everywhere I had to throw out all my bikinis when I got home.
The hotel staff at the main reception were not very friendly. The food was ok but nothing to write home about, and the location was fine for your beach ,cafes,pubs.
I would never go back or recommend this hotel to anyone!

When we arrived at the hotel (6am)we were handed a bag of food - as grateful as we were it wasnt eaten. Nice gesture though.
The rooms were fine. Nice and clean. The size was fine for two people. We might of had a 3rd person in our room but they couldnt make it and if they had been there, it would have been very cramped. We were on the 5th floor and had the end room with views overlooking the pool and beach.
The food was fab and we always stuffed our faces! we could always find something we liked.
The location was brillant too. Away from the crazy magaluf but just round the corner from the fantastic banana joes - you have to visit this place! close to the beach and shops too.
We never stayed in the hotel for entertainment so cant comment on that.
Whilst we were at the hotel the age group was mainly 18-30 with a few older couples also. I would recommend this hotel to young people going with their friends or couples who want a bit of a young vibe about the place. We spoke to an 50 something couple however, and they said they were having a fantastic time and that they had no problems with noise. If anyone does cause chaos the security guards tend to step in and make sure peace is restored! if you are looking for luxury and tranquility then no, this isnt your type of place. Come here looking for fun and a good down to earth atmosphere!

The rooms were small we had a double bed which was good.
The food - the same type of meat was there the next day I came home with bad tummy and it took my holiday entertainment away from us.
Location was good only took 10 minutes to Magaluf but good overall.

This hotel is great! Great location, close to the beach, shops, bars, and 10 minutes from Magaluf! Hotel was clean.
Food was great good selection, something for everyone. staff were friendly. Didn't really go to entertainment but looked quite busy. I have been here 7 times, sometimes twice in the one year, I love this hotel as much as I love the place. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Just came back from a mad week in Palma Nova with a group of 5 girls. The rooms were really clean and much bigger than we expected.
The breakfast was okay (only had half a sausage on the 1st day was too hungover!) try Kompas along the road, mmmm
The location of the hotel was in a good place, close to the beach and about 10 minutes walk into magaluf.
The staff were friendly apart from the security guard!
I'd defnitly go back to this hotel in the future.
