The hotel is very clean in all areas. the food on A/I was very good with plenty of choice every mealtime.

The only complaint was sometimes it was warm rather than hot but there is a microwave you can use for this and for your own baby food.

The location is excellent. You go down the lift to the pool area, across to the play ground then right onto the beach.

The staff were very good. My 2 grandchildren were ill and made a bit of a mess in their bedroom, the maids cleaned it up and left extra bedding/towels as the little one was still ill.

The entertainment was not to my taste but others seemed to enjoy it and the grandchildren ages 3 and 5 loved it.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and it is the best 'family' hotel we have stayed in.

We were a bit worried after some of the reports we had read but found the hotel to be very clean. The pool & surrounding areas were clean & staff cleaned up regularly. The rooms were typical 3* rooms. Basic but clean. We had a quadruple room which consisted of two single beds two settees that doubled as beds & a cot. Even with all that the room still felt quite spacious & we had enough storage space for four people. The maids cleaned daily to a good standard. Lifts were a bit small & were a bit unreliable but nothing that is going to spoil a holiday. We had a lovely view over the bay. If you can get a seaview it is worth it.

Food for the main meals was nice & unlike some hotels you got exactly what was described. i.e. if it said turkey/lamb etc that is what you got not some weird variation which definately helps with a fussy five year old & equally fussy husband. There was always a reasonable number of options although a few more veg to go with the meals would have been nice. The only issue with the AI was the snacks between meals. The children could have local ice lollies or ice cream but if you wanted something hot it had to be from the restaurant & then it was only a couple of things left over from either breakfast or lunch or bread with sandwich meats. It didn't really bother us as the food for the main meals was quite nice so we didn't need snacks but it could be an issue for some. The one benefit to this system is that people don't take/order food just for the sake of it so you don't see a lot of waste.
We found the hotel staff to be polite & friendly. The entertainers were great with kids & adults alike.

We thought the hotel location was great. 5 minutes from Magalluf one way, 5 mintues from Palma Nova the other & the beach 2 mins away. Perfect.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Hawaii Hotel. The room 207 had a fabulous view of the bay, the sea, neighbouring beaches and the green cliffs in front.

The food was great, lots of variety and plenty of taste.

The location is enviable, easy access to the beach for us and close incase we needed to return to the hotel.

The entertainment is excellent, plenty of variety in performances, and after our evening walk it would go on late to entertain the kids.

Staff always helpful and keen to help people learn spanish

An amazing family holiday, would return definately.

Lovely views still could not make up for the disappointment with this hotel.

Myself and 3 x friends had looked forward to this holiday, only to find no room ready on arrival, eventually got 1 instead of 2.

Not to be put off we tried our hardest to enjoy.

After clearing a table in dining room, we found the food looked like the week before's left overs.
Still not to be put off, we decided to have a drink (we were all inclusive)Ooops big mistake - staff looked at us as if we had crawled from under a stone.
We actually felt guilty asking for drinks.

Still not to be put off we ventured out into other bars, and had a great time. This hotel is in a great location, however customer service skills are zero !!!

Just come back from a fortnight in hotel Hawaii.

Have stayed in hotels all over Palma Nova and never met more miserable staff than at Hawaii apart from Manuel who is the youngest member of bar staff.

Hotel was lovely and clean apart from dining room where you have to clean other peoples mess before you can sit down, also found cutlery very dirty.

Food was good but repetitive plenty of veal and not enough for kids. Hotel room was very spacious and clean sea view was fab.

Entertainment was a bit poor same disco with same songs caberets ok.

Daytime entertainment was good Dennis was brilliant remembered everybodies name top guy! Good holiday for price paid you get what you pay for.

We went there for 1 week all inclusive holdiay. Had a lovely suite of rooms, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a massive balcony.

We were lucky, as other people who booked the holdiay months ago had to put up with 1 room, even though they asked for 2 and another party were even put up in the Tabago across the road having to travel for their all inclusive deal all the time.

The staff apart from one young chap were rude and unhelpful. The food was very, very boring, and if you did not get to the dining room quick enough all the nice things had gone.

You might also find that you will have to clear your own table before you can sit and eat. However nice and healthy loads of fruit and salad, I guess its cheap? Make sure you like veal and monkfish, this is on the menu every day....

The pool area got very dirty by 3pm with bins overflowing and rubbish blowing everywhere, this really let the hotel down. Also the toilets by the pool were quite a hazard, very slippy! Our bathroom did not have a vent, with 5 people having showers this made the whold appartment drip with moisture and leave the bathroom wet for hours.

However, entertainment guy and his crew really tried hard they were about the only nice people there.
Best thing about the holdiay: Location, something for everyone, pool, beach and pebble beach to do snorkling! All the kids 9,13 and 15 were happy.

Worst thing: Staff being so unfriendly and never getting a place by the pool as all deckchairs are taken by 7am.

I have travel worldwide on all inclusive deals, Hawaii hotel in Palma Nova, Majorca being my first in Spain.

This is by far the most worst.

Where to start, to be fair I got it at a very good price, so the old saying comes to mind "You get what you pay for". But saying that there were a lot of things that even at rock bottom prices I would exspect a better standard.

The cleanliness.
Good but my room was infested by Ants, these little critters do not bother me "Normally". I woke one night to loud scratching noise at first I thought it was coming from under my bed, but quickly realised that the noise was inside my head and no I was not going mad, it was a bloody Ant inside my ear, for such a little critter they sure can make alot of noise when they are scratching on your eardrum, after about 5 minutes in a mad panic the ant decided it had enough and came out, none the worst.
The next morning I complained AGAIN and was told by the receptionist it happens to everyone once in there lifes and not to leave food out and they will not bother me. This forum will not allow me to print my reply, just use your imagination.

Hotel Food
Boring, boring, boring. presentation was different but everything tasted the same. There was nothing for the kids, by way of what kids like to eat. If you were to go in the restaurant late you would find that the pickings were slim, so after a few days everyone cottened on to the fact and there was always a mad dash. also you had to clen your table of the pevious diners dirty plates before you could sit to eat.
The snacks were even worse, there were no poolside snacks unless you bought it, you had to go up six stories to the restaurant, and they were always leftovers from the previous meal. We had snacks once. The system for you to get drinks were terrible, children were allowed to get anything, so all day it was Dad can I have this, Dad can I have that, at least 4-5 times during my stay did the drinks dispenser break down so all that was available for the kids was water, coffee was out a machine but if you bought it, it was out the pot and you had to pay extra for many of the drinks.

Hotel Location.
One of the good points

Hotel Staff.
All I can say is very rude, but was told that this is the way of the Spanish, One bar man was exceptional and it even became the holiday joke when getting served for drinks, we later found out that he was an Argentine, so that may explain lots.

Entertainment.
To be fair, the hotel entertainment reps were bloody good, considering the funding they must have, the shows were awful, and most of the time you were the entertainment.

Would I visit this hotel again, only in a Tornado with lots of rockets loaded on board.

Our room was on the top floor which i was quite dissapointed about having a 3 year old but the sea view was fantastic. The location of the hotel was great right on the beach and only a few minutes walk in to palma nova. Didn't have any problems with the staff and the cleanliness was fine. Only problems we had was not been able to get beds round the pool as people was putting towels on beds at 6.30am in the morning so we had no chance and the pool area was way too small for the size of the hotel. The food was ok at first but got a bit repetative after a few days so I'm glad we only went for a week, but the puddings were lovely. The entertainment was ok not great but our daughter loved the mini disco 8.30 - 9.00pm but after that it got abit boring. The lifts are very small and there was only 2 so we had to wait a while sometimes but all in all we enjoyed our holiday.

This was our secod time to the Hawaii and once again we were not disappointed. We booked through Thomas Cook on a half board basis and then upgraded to All Inclusive when we got to the hotel. This is a much more expensive way of doing it but Thomas Cook only offer Half Board.

The hotel was spotless and we had an amazing view of Palma Nova bay. I would say 90% off the rooms are sea view so would not bother with paying extra for sea view as you are pretty much guarenteed to get a sea view.

The food was excellent good choice and lovely deserts. The All Inclusive option includes ice cream and drink from the snack bar at the pool but not snacks the all inclusive food you have to have at the resturant.

The pool was cleaned daily but in my opoinion ould be a lot bigger and this is the only thing that lets this hotel down.

Entertainment was fantastic Dennis is very good. Activites by the pool all day then kids disco bingo and a show at night time.

The hotel is situated perfect in Palma Nova. At the bottom of the hill turn right for a quieter night in Palma Nova or turn left and up a small slope to Magaluf. Although Magaluf is no more than 5 mins away we could never hear any noise from the hotel.

We have already booked up to go in 2008 and I would say avoid the high street travel agents, they do not offer all inclusive and are more expensive. This time we have got a flight with Easyjet and the hotel with XCapewithus.com which we can book All Inclusive direct with them and we have found it to be over
