After reading the favourable reviews from last year we booked a 2 week stay and boy the food must have changed.

It is now all inclusive and i will start with the good bits. They have a mister whippy style ice cream machine that is self service but I think they have got rid of the cones now.

Beer, wine and soft drinks are all self service and are great, they even have a slush puppy machine for free. The hotel is very clean and although the rooms are small they are serviced daily and have plenty of storage space.

The evening entertainment although now hotel run is generally of good quality with 4 or 5 outside acts coming in per week. The day time entertainment is a laugh but nothing ground breaking and you will not be pestered to join in.

The hotel and grounds are safe for the kids as there is only one entrance/exit. Now the bad. Lunch every day is luke warm chips hotdog sauages, burgers and fish with a poor attempt at a salad. Dinner is much the same with little choice and poor quality food.

Last orders are at 23:45 and the bar is closed and locked at midnight, if you have any left you are drinking in reception (or room). Over all its not a bad hotel but its let down badly by the food.

This is the hotels first year all inclusive and i think they are losing money as things are being changed all the time to save money.

after reading reviews was a bit worried - was expecting hotel ASBO! i couldnt fault the place.people who moan about children etc maybe ought to try adult only next time. i arrived during low season so not too many children around but they all seemed well behaved. the childrens rep were brilliant with them.
food was okay for the type of accomodation we dined late in all sittings to allow the rush to die down. by then the food was not as hot as it could have been however still enjoyable...not bad for the fussiest eater ever!

If you like a more British holiday in the sun then this place is probably as good as it gets!
The Entertainment crew were absolutely superb - Carl & Lucy and the others, guess they made it as good as it was more so than the hotel, which was excellent!
The Thomson kids club was fantastic, the entertainment superb - no parrot shows or flamenco dancers etc, just good quality cabarets, bands and comedians.the reps show night was awesome - effort beyond belief!!
The food was same as most hotels, excellent choice and quality just a bit bland.
The location too far from the main town but in a nice little area close to the beach, with plenty going on. Didn't leave hotel of an evening (or much of a daytime as the pool area entertainment was a laugh) so didn't miss out on anything!
Top holiday, if only the hotel bitter tasted as good as it looked...! We would love to go back but apparantly the hotel is going all inclusive next year so not for us, but another Thomson superfamily is a certainty.

If you are looking for a fun time then you are going to enjoy this.

The reps there are fantastic Carl, Lucy, and the gang make the stay fun for adults and children. The hotel is clean and all staff are really nice, to get the most from this holiday you must join in.

The food is good (nothing is like home)its very varied there are lots of restaurants out side the hotel if you want a change.

I have only three negatives about the hotel the first is the price of drinks in the hotel very expensive. The next is the size of the room which was small. There was no visable life guard for the 2 swimming pools! Why?

We have just returned from a week stay at hotel Continental Park and we just want to spread the news to let you all know that we had a fantastic time and highly reccommend this hotel especially for fun loving families this is mainly down to the Thomson staff based here.

The entertainment duo of Carl & 'Juicy Lucy' are terrific! They keep both adults and kids entertained throughout the day' and well into the night.

No doubt they don't recieve the recognition they deserve, but I can estimate that they work about 15 hours each day. Also the kids reps' Miya, Kat & Carol earn every penny of their wages!

Our 2 girls were completely comfortable with them and they made us feel totally relaxed at the thought of leaving them in their hands, often they would stay at the hotel long after they finished work to continue playing with the children in their own time, they were fantastic.

We arrived to a warm friendly welcome by English receptionist.

The rooms was very small and air conditioning was rubish only available from 8pm untill 3am,this is the only grumble I have with the hotel.

Food was good a great selection changed daily and a childrens section which my little girl loved.

Hotel location was ok in a place called playa de muro not Alcudia like the brochure stated.

Alcudia was a 25 minute walk away but only 5 euro in a taxi.

The staff in this hotel were very friendly and I would thoroughly recommend it for a family as there were two parks to play in, one for younger children and one for the older ones.

The pool was clean and so was the hotel. The only drawback is the size of the rooms and balcony as they were very small.

Overall we had a lovely time both in the hotel and in the resort

OH DEAR HELP!!!!

Well where to start, after a long delay at Birmingham due to a CRASH!! 13.5 hrs, we arrived at 1.50am with very helpful reception staff, the apartment was a short walk through the hotel.

To our disgust when we opened the door (remember the time) there was a broom cupboard with no sight of a bed! a VERY small studio, after five mins of searching we found two camping style beds under the settees!!! We had to move the room furniture around to accommodate the beds into a double format.(put one settee on top of the other to make some room)as we were a couple as you know it`s nice to sleep together whilst on hols!!! Also aircon is only in operation betwixed 3.00pm-1.00am nice eh!!

Bathroom very nice, but kitchen was like a little hole off the main errr????? sorry small box with no food preparation area. However, to say it was kept clean was an understatement the maids were VERY friendly and kept the room immaculate.

Hotel was very clean, the only complaint was the bar staff are cavemen and really miserable, no customer service there, and prices are high!!! Your local bar at least 1 euro cheaper for a pint!!

But to be fair think we made a mistake upon booking this hotel as is very family orientated, if you like your stereotypical council estate then this is for you,
with some very rude children around and lots of them, but that was our fault!!! for not researching it enough.

If you have a family and enjoy Butlins then GO! if not book somewhere else.

Recently returned from a 'Superfamily' break to this hotel with my wife and one year old child.

The pool was too cold for us to use - even at the end of a hot summer - the sea was much warmer and not very far to walk.

The entire hotel was smoking apart from the restaurant and one small area of the bar The bar was very smokey meaning all the night time entertainment was not accessible to us, escaping for a night out meant getting through the smokey reception in the evening. I would not take my son out for a night of smokey bingo in this country so why would I in Spain?

Family evening entertainment started at 8 and went onto 12 and was pretty noisy when the Thomson 'Entertainers' chose to hold it next to the pool which also happens to be outside half of the rooms. With the mics turned up to 11 it can be a pretty miserable existence listening to someone shout towel in a amusing tarzan style in order to secure said object as a prize.

Room was small meaning there was nowhere for my son to play and all surfaces were concrete / tile meaning any trips resulted in a painful tumble.

Had we not been sold this break as 'Superfamily' I think we would have been more forgiving of the above but to say the hotel was child friendly takes some explaining. On a positive note, if you are a smoker or smoke tolerant then you will not have any of these problems.

The food and service from the Spanish hotel staff is also fantastic so pack those elsaticated trousers.

Our room was on the fifth floor overlooking the pool with a fantastic view of Alcudia Bay. There was only the two of us I can imagine the rooms being a little small for families if you spend all your time in them but you don`t.

The maids made the beds and checked the rooms every day and were always bright and cheerful. The hotel was cleaned every day by what seemed to be a small army mopping cleaning and wiping everything in sight.

We went half board and it was well worth it the food was fantastic, choice, quantity and quality. Breakfast was a choice of full English, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal or continental you could have had it all. I loved the toaster! Tea Coffee and juices and probably a couple of things I`ve forgotten.

Dinner was just as impressive wide a range of food you could have five or six courses if you wanted and we did the fresh tuna and sardines are delicious. There was everything you could want, soup, salad, paella, fish, meat, vegetables and a choice of desserts and ice creams,
not to mention cheese and biscuits and fresh fruit.

The restaurant staff were brilliant with the number of people coming in and out, they were polite and helpful and gave you a real sense of feeling welcome but they are very busy.

Just around the corner and across the road is the beach. What a beach, and the sea is clear you can walk out into the lovely warm sea for about 200yards and still the water only comes up to your thighs and its still warm we didn`t hire sun beds on the beach but were told they are about 4 euro a day if you go in the late afternoon they don`t charge you.

All the hotel staff were very helpful and the early morning wake up call is great if your going on an excursion or going home early.

Drinks are a bit expensive at the bar but the staff are great there is entertainment every night my personal favourite were the Beatles tribute band they were great. There are loads of bars and restaurants one just in front of the hotel that is really popular fantastic fish menu including lobster and grouper reasonably priced.

The excursions offered at the hotel are really varied if you've`e never been on a catamaran go for the day trip it is a must you`ll love it.

We will be going back with our children next year.

We stayed in the apartments of this hotel due to the hotel rooms not having enough room for a cot

These apartments were very clean.... We always saw maids and staff cleaning in some way or another

We had plenty of room in our apartment with enough storage space

in our party we had 4 adults 1 8yr old, 1 7 yr old and 2 under 2s

the food was excellent, some nights for food was better than others but you have lots of choice ... Brilliant for kids of all ages even the fussy ones ... You can eat as much as you like and we did!

The hotel staffs were polite and helpful

the daytime entertainment was great fun.... Lots of activities for the children and adults to join in with. We did try to put the children in the daytime clubs but was told they were fully booked and had to pre-book for the following day. They only accept 18 children at one time due to the space. This isn't brilliant as they are lots of children so be sure to get in the queue early if your wanting your children to go to them. Our children didn't enjoy them as they said they got bored so we only used the clubs the once

We used the cr
