The Hotel is located 5 mins walk from the beach, with a handful of quiet bars, supermarkets, 2 restaurants (one Chinese), and at least 3 car hire places (good rates) nearby. The area is generally clean with the odd doggy do-do to watch out for. There is little/no ents away fro the hotel that we found (except live footy in most of the bars). The beach was small but not too overcrowded, and formed the start of this quaint inlet.

There were two beaches, but both were small. If you are looking for isolated beaches a hire car is required. There are some exelent beaches 20 mins away. Some require a short walk after parking.
The town of Cuitadella is 10 mins drive north and is worth a visit.

I would return, but only as a base to travel around the island.

the resort gives the feeling that it has given up, number of businesses have closed up and gone. nothing to do in the evening except eat, menus are the same in every resturant. The ones by the beach are nice at night but still felt thatr something was missing, life!

Cala blanca is quite a small resort but very beautiful, down by the beach the views are stunning. The beach itself is quite small but the water is crystal clear, theres also a diving school. Would reccomend the cala blanca restaurant on the beach for excellant seafood. Also take a stroll down to santandria about 15 minutes away where the beach and scenery are stunning.

The resort itself is lovely, but very quiet. If thats what you are looking for then its fantastic. We really did enjoy our stay there but a week was just enough because you we had visited almost all of the restaurants in one week (thats how small it is). There isn't much to do during the day or night (maybe different in August) but my daughter is 4 and there wasn't even a park for her to play on. Its not a complaint really as we did enjoy our stay but maybe families with kids of 4 and above think before you choose Cala Blanca and it may be a little too quiet. All in all probably would not go back but only because we need to keep our daughter entertained, if we could go as a couple, we would visit again for definate.

The beach is about 700m from the Maribel and a nice walk. It has beds and umberellas. The sea is torquise and warm. prices are reasonable. There's not a lot to say really, if you've been to spain before it's like any other beach really.

We stayed in Cala Blanca which is a lot quieter than we are used to, but it was still very good. It is only a short bus ride away from Ciutadella where you can get buses to other resorts.
my only complaint was the price of the sunbeds on the beach near our hotel - a rip off @ 9 euros each!Beware of the jelly fish!!
Also i thought the water park @ Calan Bosch was a rip off, it cost a fortune to get in; then you had to hire a sunbed!
