When we arrived at the hotel the hotel staff were very helpful and changed a hotel room from second floor to ground floor for my parents.
The maids were great and thoroughly cleaned the rooms for us and even tidied up the teenagers clothes up.
The food was really nice and we ate really well for two weeks, they had a good variety for all ages. Breakfasts were great with fried eggs, scrambled eggs, toast bacon and a good selection of cereals.
For dinner they had pasta, saute potatoes and small potatoes, and a great selection of stews, roast pork, chops, chicken and salad. The desserts could be slightly better but they were tasty but were mostly the same every night.
All staff were fantasic but the best guys were Jose and Daniel, great sense of humours. The staff work very hard to clear away cups and keep the place very clean.
Entertainment was fantasic for younger kids, I had teenagers and was a bit bored until the other bar opened and then they had karoke which was brilliant.
Sharon the suncare advisor was great as my 15 year old blistered on her back even though she was using factor 30, it doesn't feel warm at times but you can burn very easily. The sunburn relief creams she sells are fantasic and the blisters went down over night.

I would go back to this hotel tomorrow, my teenagers had a great holiday.

The hotel was situated in a good location and was central to all the bars and restaurant in the resort, so not too far to trek 'back home'. The reception staff were on the whole friendly. We had no shower head and our safe wouldn't work, but a quick call to reception and these problems were quickly rectified. We were in a ground floor apartment and had to change rooms after a week due to an increasing cockroach problem in the bathroom, but after that we had no further problems. The Hotel had 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer which is very handy if you are travelling with small children.

I thought the hotel was clean compared with some places my husband and I have stayed over the years. Some people have commented that the sunbeds were shabby, but who cares as long as they work? You do have to be up very early though to get one around the little toddler pool.

There seemed to be a good level of maintenance going on around the hotel, not in your face but quietly in an unobtrusive way and the maids were very polite and accommodating. The pools appeared to be cleaned nightly.

The entertainment team were excellent and did their upmost to make your holiday as fun-packed as possible. The entertainment was not West-End quality by any means by the guy get A for their fun-loving natures and hard work.
The reps work long hours and live in not great accommodation, but always have a smile on their faces.

Special mention to the kids club team: Stacey, Charmaine, Jodie etc. The kids loved Kids Club and it gave us a welcomed break every day. However I feel it could have been made better if there was more outside activities provided. There was a children's playground on the grounds and a fenced off outdoor area outside the kids club back doors, both of which I never saw any children in. I think if the hotel spent a bit of money refurbishing the playground to the standard of the one at the Commercial Centre down the road, it would be a great asset to the hotel and something for little children to do. The hotel did have activities for older children with the covered games area (pool etc).

There was pay by the hour T.V in each apartment, however the reception varied depending on the location of your apartment and there were very few English speaking channels.

There was 4 computers in the reception with internet access (1 euro for 10 mins). Handy for checking your email. You could also pay for Wi-Fi.

I cannot comment on the hotel food as we went self-catering, which I was glad of as we were able to shop around and pick and choose where we wanted to eat that evening.

we enjoyed our stay in the broncemar. It was very clean and all areas were well looked after. The flowers were beautiful. Our apartment was kept clean and the maid was friendly as were all the staff. You did have to reserve your sunbed by the pool but we went in the school holidays and this might not always be the case. We are not ones for hotel entertainment so cannot really comment on that. As we were (luckily) stuck there due to the volcano erupting we were put onto full board and enjoyed the food very much. As we were in a room at the back 110 we did not find it too noisey but might have had problems nearer the bar as entertainment went on until 1.30! This is definately a place for people with children.

Have just come back from the most enjoyable weeks stay at this hotel...
Cannot fault this hotel at all, and would certainly stay there again.
Apartments basic but clean, no major insect problems, just a few little ants near the sink, so dont leave anything on the draining board or in the sink un washed as it will be full of ants in the morning, otherwise no issues.

The 3 pools are very clean only 2 are heated though, the pool with the Dolphin motifs is not heated, and was very cold, the other 2 pools though were fine.
The tiles round the pools can get slippery when wet, so just use common sense and don't run around near to the pools, there are wooden decking in the main areas and these are there for your protection and comfort so use them.

Would advise people to allocate themselves Sun Beds before breakfast, as if you waited until after breakfast you found yourself laying on the decking.
The on-site supermarket is very expensive, DONT use it, their is a Hiperdino supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the hotel in the Commecial Centrico where prices are half what they are in the hotel market.

We originally booked half-board but found that this option to be very expensive as the first night buying 8 cokes in the Buffet lounge cost us 24 euros (

Originally booked half board but increased to AI on arrival.

Room mostly clean apart from a dead cockroach under the kitchen table. This was removed the next day but a leg was moved into the bathroom where it lived for another day. The gap under the front door meant leaves blew in constantly. Hotel accomodation mainly fair but tableclothes dirty, tables uncleared for long periods of time. Glasses often chipped from the bar and plates/cutlery not washed properly.

Food mainly fair and manageable. Gala dinner extraordinarily poor. Poor quality food dressed up with sauces, powdered mash and very poor choice. very disapointing.

Hotel located close to small resort. Everything walking distance.

Staff between dour and rude. Slow and faffed doing nothing. Ocassional flashes of smiles and the lovely evening staff of young men raised the mark to average.

Usual animation. They did their best.

I will never return to this hotel.

We booked thru Thomas Cook and asked for 3 rooms next to each other. This was what we received on arrival, The reps - were very good, did their job well but did not pester you in any way to take part in any activities.

The staff at the complex were very good, even the ones who were only learning to speak english.

We had cockroaches here and there but with gardens located through the complex this was only to be expected, and there was not that many and when reported the staff dealt with the matter quickly and effectively.

The reps and Kids club staff work hard at ensuring you are entertained both during the day and in the evening. I would recommend this for any family but would be unsure if there was enough to entertain people without kids.

The pool area is 'slippery when wet' and a wooden deck style path and area has been created arround the kids' pool, but we did hear of a approx 4 people who required plaster casts for broken bones due to a fall/slip

overall enjoyed the stay and will return in the near future

spent 2 weeks at this accomodation on half board basis. the room was adequate for our needs and very spacious and well equipped even though we were half board. the brochure said towels got changed 3 times a week but we were there for 5 days before i eventually complained at reception for clean ones. bedding did get changed twice in the 2 weeks.
the food was quite nice catering for everone. the pool area was kept clean and the reps did a good job of keeping everyone entertained.the staff were very pleasent except the hotel manager who never had a smile for anyone.
there was no air conditioning in the room and it was red hot in the rooms at night even though it was nice and cool outside, which was quite a let down but you could hire fans from reception which cost us 96 euros for 2 weeks then we got 40 euros deposit back.
the tv's in the rooms are coin operated which is a 1st to my holidaying experiences.
the exchange rate in the hotel is rubbish to start with but they also charge 2% commision so i suggest you use the banks round the corner or a small exchange place in town.
we booked with thomas cook but the airline was british midland. were only allowed 15 kg luggage allowance so paid

We have just spent 2 weeks in Broncemar Beach and had a fantastic time, the weather was great, we enjoyed ourselves so much 3 days after being at home we booked up to go back end of September this year.

Our room was comfortable with large bathroom, tv which you paid for, clean towels and bedding although I must admitt I had to complain about the floors not being cleaned often enough.

The complex is ideal for families with children, entertainment to suit all. The entertainment team are excellent and work day & night to ensure you enjoy your stay, very friendly. The complex consists of a mini market, shop, tavern, resturant, pool bar which also sells food, food nice and not overly priced. There are 2 large swimming pools and a kids pool, one of the large pools covers the entertainment eg water polo, however the other pool is more relaxing and quieter. We were self catering although you do have an option daily to pay for breakfast, dinner or both which is reasonable enough. The Kids Club is great for the children to go along if they wish to do so. There are plenty resturants nearby - Fado Rock is amazing!! The resort is very peaceful. We didnt leave the complex at night due to the fabulous entertainment from Laura, Claire, Aairon, Dave and the mad Stevie-Jo. My 3 year old Daughter had a ball. The euro is making things more expensive but there is a Euro Spar 10 minutes walk or 2.50euro in taxi which is much cheaper than the local supermarkets.

Arrived at the Broncemar Beach on Saturday evening 4th April for two weeks.Three of us - myself, teenage daughter and her best mate. We were allocated Room 159 which was at the end of the "bridge" walkway, and was a spacious apartment with a lovely private rooftop terrace for sunbathing (and popping back in for a drink/snack whenever you feel like it).
Maid service was every day except Tuesday & Friday with towels changed 3 times per week and sheets changed twice during our 2-week stay. No tea-towel provided so bring your own! The little kitchen has a fridge, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and filter coffee maker.
There is a shop in the complex for your initial basics on the first day but after that I would recommend shopping around for most foods. There are lots of Nettos around the town, and while we were there they had an offer where you got a 3
