The complex was very quiet at this time we have stayed there before when we booked with Thompsons but this time we did it direct and it was much better.
The rooms are basic but do the trick. Close to all venus, rooms where cleaned reguarly and cleaning staff very nice.
There was a microwave kettle and toaster in the rooms which was great.
The pool is very clean and we enjoyed it even if it is a bit cold. We had some great nights in the pool bar with the two Irish there they helped to make it a very friendly place to be they couldn't do enough for us even though they where busy with people who return there at the same time each year we will be back great place.

Castillo was fab good clean rooms nice atmostphere staff couldn't do enough for us even when kids were ill

Castillo Playa Apartments/Bungalows - Bungalow was dirty, self catering facilities inadaquate.
Beds broken/ matressess disgusting/ no pull out sofa bed as described. Z Bed and what I can only describe as a park bench with a piece of foam.
Location good - close to beach and shops
Hotel staff - I never saw any staff, only the man that runs the bar and keeps you awake with his Kareoke - he was the only one singing. He informed us on our fist day to make sure we lock our doors even when we are in as they have had loads of burgularies.
No enerntainment.
This accomodation was so bad we moved to another hotel, which may I add we had to pay for. No I would never stay in this accomodation again or ever trust a Thompson Holiday. rating

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Castillo Playa apartments/bungalows in October 2004
The apartments are an ideal base for a family holiday. The maid service and reception are very good and they have a superb pool and pool bar which does good breakfasts and daytime and evening snacks.
They are very close to the the beach and a short walk to the bars and restaurants.

staying here was great .the staff are fantastic especially the pool man who handed in my sisters watch after a middle of the night swim.just wish wed gone for two weeks however we have been 4 times now so im sure wel be back.
