There was 38 bungalows on a small complex. Around the pool was a very nice friendly atmosphere.
Food from the snack bar was exceptionally good with a wide range of snacks on offer. There was a special each day which was homemade. Portion sizes were huge and we often stayed and ate there rather than ventured out.
Maid service was 5 times a week and bed linen twice a week.
Bungalows are about 5 mins from shops and bars,and about 8 mins to the beach.
Entertainment was very low key, we just sat around the bar and chatted with other guest, before heading to livley bars.
Would definately stay again at these bungalows and would recommend them.

There seems to be a bit of a mis-understanding with these apts. As it is called Puerto Castillo, they are also called Castillo Beach.although there is another Castillo Beach in Costa Caleta(new name for Caleta de Fuste).
Castillo Puerto is based very near beach. Check the map for location.
Well lets get back to the apts. On arrival these apts are very basic. Although basic big enough for family of 4. If booking at these apts, request near pool area. Very clean with maid service 4times per week.(this was in low season). They did not have a microwave nor tv. which can be a bit of worry if going with kids. You can hire a tv for 20 euros a week and a ps2 with games (extra for ps2) (great for kids)the location is only a 3min walk to the beach and is near the centre.
There are no hills to walk up or down,which is good for those who have difficult in walking. The hotel staff were very helpful if you needed anything.
There are no entertainment in these apts with only a pool side bar. this will be open from 10 o clock until when ever. The pool bar sells snacks,breakfast and night time snacks. for a bottle of bud and other bottled beer or alcho pops it is 4 euros. (about
