This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Dont go, There is not one guest I stayed with who enjoyed themself. My poor 3 year old was begging to go home

Do not except a bungalow near the road that surrounds this complex i as was told by other holidaymakers who stayed here they were the ones that got robbed on a regular basis . the words quick getaway come to mind

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

don't choose the bungalows - poor outlook an isolated.
Local bar the Crazy Goat good fun and excellent food at Mustang Sally.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

This would be good in height of summer when really hot then open roof woudnt matter and definitely need transport of your own

I would definitely recommend taking a walk up to the harbour, we didn't believe the rep that there were chipmunks in the rocks, but it's true (there was also by the pool one day)
The beach behind the hotel is very clean as is the main beach a short walk away.
The shopping center next door to the hotel is not the biggest, however, it does have a supermarket and a couple of clothes shops.

The resort itself is lovely very good for families lots of nice restaurants and bars. Lots of playgrounds for kids but Not much Nightlife going on.
Would recommend Fado Rock Steakhouse fabulous food at good prices but book at busy times as often queues out the door.
Manmade beach bit stoney but 10 mins stroll along the rocks past the chipmunks and you will find a lovely beach.

It is a great place very friendly. Clean streets and beaches great for the kids eating out is cheap and very good

the beach is very clean and perfect for young children. I would go to fuertaventura again, just not to the same hotel.

Loved Calleta quiet not alot happening but spotlessly clean. Some good restaurants enough shops for a browse though all closed at 10pm but guess thats because its November. Would return for a week not enough happening for 2 weeks.

Did not venture much into Caleta da Fuste as met a good group of people in the hotel and spent lots of time chatting.
Beach to the front of the hotel was exceptionally clean and mosts empty.
Definately visiting the island again.

this is a nice resort but not alot to do they didnt want you in the bar if you did not order a meal and as we were all inclusive it was quite awkward.we enjoyed a nice walk each morning to the small harbour.
