Had a brill time, these apartments were great good location 10 mins to beach, 20 mins to town centre. Was notified about building work before we travelled but this did not bother us at all, I think this may have put a lot of people off staying here as complex very quiet hence entertainment very limited so we went out into town.
There are 2 pools with plenty of sunbeds and you hire parasol for 5euros deposit which is refunded at the end of your stay, this is a good idea as you don't have to fight to get a brolly.
Apartments spacious, cleaned 5 times a week, towels changed 3 times well equipped but TV is pay for view. Huge balcony lovely to sit out on, there is no air con which could be a problem in summer months.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

The Atlantic Garden is a very nice place to stay.
The pool area is quite large and there are plenty of sunbeds, the only trouble we had the whole fortnight we were there the sun did not shine a lot, it was cold and wet, the wettest they have had in memory.
The marquee entertainment tent was a big let down, it has no front cover and the wind and rain just kept coming in, it was too cold to sit in at night time.
We were not too impressed with the night time entertainment and it was too wet during the day for anything to go off around the pool. The reps had a hard time getting anyone to join in things.
We hired a car and visited most towns and villages on the island to give us something to do to get out of the rain.
The Staff were most friendly we have had they were very helpful in respects.
We hired a heater for our apartment as it was so cold and they offered us extra blankets too.
The cleaning staff were polite when we saw them, but we were out most of the day anyway.
The building site is coming on now, there was a little noise off the jackhammer digging out some foundations but that was not too bad, but if you are in apartments 180 to 190 and 280 to 290 it would be loud as they overlook the building site.
We would recommend this place to anyone, it is close to the beaches and bars are not too far away.

Staff are very friendly - particularly on reception
The apartments are in a good place about 10 minutes stroll to the town and beach
There is a good supermarket within about 5 minutes
Entertainment at night wasn't brilliant but we were quite happy to walk into the town and found a few good bars and restaurants
The apartments themselves have all ben refurbished to avery good standard - we really couldn't find fault with anything and would definitley go abck again

Very clean and tidy. good amenities. very friendly staff will reccomend to anyone. Food was good with a snack menu from the bar. Entertainment was above average but if you love Elvis you may not agree. Childrens entertainment throughout the day and part eve was good (said my 10 yr old)

Newly renovated as of November 1st 2004. Self Catering but with a restaurant on site which we cannot comment about as we did not use.
The Hotel reception and all paths were cleaned everyday. Rooms were cleaned 5 days a week although towels were changed only twice, but towels could be got at reception.
The Hotel is situated about 15 minutes from the commercial centre and about 8 minutes to the beach and about 20 minutes to the start of the Dunes.
The staff were very friendly and helped with any request and information required.
We did not use the entertainment provided but it looked like a full daily programme was on offer.

The name is Atlantic Garden (not Atlantic Gardens)
If collecting a car at the airport ensure that someone provides you with the address of this hotel and clear information how to get to it. It is among lots of complicated one-way streets. Street maps which some hotels provide show it as Atlantic Playa (its old name)
There was no air conditoning (not a problem in Novemeber) but we were told at Reception that there is none in summer, either, (just fans for hire), which one suspects may be a problem.
Some noise from adjacent building work in daylight hours; not much of a problem to us as we were usually out nearly all day.

We have two small boys and elected to stay on a self catering basis, supamarkets were not a problem there is even one on site.
The hotel is very clean. We found the hotel staff friendly and professional in all our dealings. Cleaners visited approximately 5 days out of the seven, but seemed to wait until we were out as we never actually saw them.
You cannot beat the location of these apartments. It takes approximately 10 minutes to stroll into the heart of the new town, where you will find neon lights, bars and restaurants in abudundance
If you prefer a more layed back atmostphere, as we did, continue until you reach the harbour (a further 10 minute stroll) and you will find the old town. In our opinion you will find the best fish restaurants and tapas bars.
Entertainment is also available in Music Square. There is entertainment at Atlantic Gardens but this is more for the children and couples would be advised to seek their entertainment outside the complex.
In a nutshell Atlantic Gardens is not a 5* holiday but nor does it ask 5* prices. If you are looking for a family holiday offering great value for money, look no further.

We stayed at the Atlantic Garden in July 2005, have just come back from there. This was the first time I have ever travelled abroad, and have to stay couldn't fault any of it.
The apartment was clean, the staff were all friendly/helpful and didn't seem to mind that we couldn't speak Spanish very well, as they all spoke excellent English.
The receptionist were very nice and the building work, well unless we looked out of the window we didn't even know it was there!
They had a shop and bar on site. Both of which were excellent. The bar staff especially Kirsty, she was lovely, as were the other staff members who all worked very hard and always were smiling and happy.
The entertainment was also excellent, a Marquee has been erected since February and there is either entertainment or music every night, both Divina and Juanmi both made sure of that.
We are already looking to go back there in August.
