This hotel was very nice looking on the outside but on entry to the room we were given .. not so nice it was very tired looking and needed a total face lift, our bedroom door would not close, the bathroom door was all bare wood at the bottom and looked like a mouse had been chewing it very grubby not worth a 3 star rating. Maid service was poor didn't seem to come in much not 5 times a week like stated in brochure.
The location was ok although the sun was totally blocked by the apts didn't like sitting round the pool much too cramped and not a very inviting pool either looked really dirty.
Staff were pleasant enough the entertainer was lovely she tried her best but was always very quiet in the pool bar, she was brilliant with the kids. food in pool bar very poor, we would not visit this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay here, although there was some construction noise waking us up a few mornings and unfornately our bedroom was just above the dustbins and the truck did tend to come quite early in the morning.
Otherwise the accomodation was quite good. We aren't the sort of people who sit by the pool every day so the aparments blocking the sun didnt affect us.
The hotel staff were really friendly and more helpful than the rep we had. We would visit again.

Rooms were dirty , tile's were off the walls, stunk of damp and ant ridden. Maids tried their best on site food [even outside grub] was poor even hotel location is poor just nowt happenin in or around the place.
Staff tried to be nice yes sir no sir, the high light of this place is lets play bingo it starts at 9 buskers on the streets are better than their bands they book for entertainment I would say any body going away aviod fiesta gardens corralejo go to Tenerife.

Can't understand the negativity surrounding these apartments, when you book you know you are getting cheap and cheerful. The room wasn't dirty, we stayed in room 113 it was clean when we arrived and cleaned every day. There was a lot of dust and sand on the building but everywhere was the same as there had just been a tropical storm.
We found the beach wasn't that great but a small taxi ride and you were at the most superb beach on the island.
We found the nightlife great, Rock Island bar being the best. The Dubliner was ok too. The restaurants were ok, stay clear of the all you can eat Chinese they were awful. We found the fish restaurants on the harbour front the best for quality if not a little costly.
We had a great time, would I go back.............maybe.

Firstly, let me say that we have been holidaying in the canaries for nearly 10 years including several stays in Corralejo - we have never had any problem with hotels, until this one.
It is crammed into a very small space with the pool in the centre, its 3 stories high all the way round, this results in limited access for the sun. The pools are tiny and in a poor state of repair with large patches of tiles missing, this exposes the concrete underneath.The water appeared dirty and my daughter wouldnt use the pool. There were no lights in the stairwell (3 days to fix) No light bulbs in the bedroom main light.
The room was small and poorly fitted out, the toilet system broke twice, flooding the bathroom once (24 hours to fix) The cooker blew and the electrics in our flat went. there were lots of ants in the flat which the staff failed to deal with.
In the end after repeated requests for a move- we left and sorted our own accomodation at our own expense. several other families also had to move apartments within the complex.
On the positive side the staff, particularly the maintainance men were very helpful and as efficient as they could be working with a run down hotel. This hotel is not worth a 3 star rating. There are many much nicer hotels nearby. Try the Oasis Papagayo, Lobos bahia, Las Olas, Atlantis Palace to name but a few.

We visited these apartments on 7.12.04. They are located 5 minutes walk away form the bars and restaurants.
Our apartment was on the top floor at the back of the apartments, it was very clean, well equipped and very spacious. However we did hear some complaints about the traffic noise from people located at the front of the apartments facing the road.
I would describe the apartments as good quality budget type accommodation.
We did not try the food in the bar as it always seemed empty, not a good sign we thought. There is however a very good bar directly opposite called the Sundowner who serve an excellent breakfast for 3.5 euros.
There are lots of good restaurants close by. For a bar with entertainment try the Imagine piano bar a must if you like guitarists, visit and you will see what I mean.
You can get a bus for 1 euro just a hundred yards form the apartments that takes you to the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Europe.
A good holiday overall, but not a lot to do if the sun doesn't shine which unfortunately it didn't much when we were there.

Very good overall.
Would definitely stay again.
The self catering utensils etc were very minimal but as we were eating out, not a problem.
Location not absolutly perfect but pretty good, not too far from beaches and front or harbour.
Very clean, also handy and local for bars & entertainment. We saw some great musical talent in corralejo - singer, guitarist howard moss from Ireland was there playing locally. we also could walk to just about everywhere in corralejo and we did enjoy our stay at this complex.

We had a ground floor apartment,every morning the cooking surfaces were crawling with ants.
Electricity tripped out twice, second time was as we were cooking breakfast on the morning we were leaving no response from staff so we left without breakfast.
Swimming pool was so cold no one was able to use it, as air temerature was in the high 20,s this should not happen. Needs heating !!
