we expected better quality food from a 4 star hotel, eating was not a pleasant experience as you had to walk all over to get your food and drinks and wait in line each time. my wife picked up a bug on our fourth night and spoilt the holiday. we only eat at the hotel? the hotel was inpressive but to big 250 yards to get to pool. far to much walking to get anywhere if you are english you will be lucky to get a good sea view unless you complain as we did

We booked a last minute deal to this hotel and were pretty impressed. The hotel and the resort were very clean and initial impressions were very good. The architecture of the hotel is very different with a waterfall running between floors. The room was cleaned daily and the hotel was spotless. The only confusing thing that we found was that the ground floor is floor 9 and the top floor is floor 1. This wasn't easy to get your head around at first especially arriving quite late at night.
The food was a fairly high standard from breakfast to dinner and we appreciated the restaurant being opened late so we could have some food the night we arrived. We were there for a week and felt that the food would have got quite repetitive if we had been there for longer.
The resort we were in is predominantly a German resort and is set out differently from most British resorts in that it was spread out. It also seemed quite quiet. The beaches were absolutely beautiful though.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and we had no problems except the air conditioning not working too efficiently.
We didn't actually see any of the entertainment although plenty of the guests seemed to attend every night.
We would definitely go back to this hotel given the chance and could recommend it to anyone visiting Fuerteventura. The only slight negatives would be that every room was advertised as having a sea view - we did but only if you stood on your tiptoes and looked through the palm trees. The sunbeds were the only other problem - on 2 occasions we couldn't get any and the usual reserving of them was obviously going on. We were asked by our rep not to reserve them because there were plenty but didn't find this to be the case. Other than this we had a enjoyable holiday at this hotel.

beautiful hotel, quiet resort, food excellent. room very clean. evening entertainment very poor. r2 is a german chain of hotels so 90% of the guests were german. location away from noisy town so perfect for peace and quiet.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Pajara.
Its such a relaxing place maybe because it was only half full so no rush for sunbeds or dining tables
nearby.
Beaches are great but lots of naked Germans
about but its funny and gives you something to talk about!!
Not a lot to do out and about but we didnt go
on holiday to rush about.
Didnt go to any entertainment, so cant rate it.
All in all a great holiday
