We do not agree with the 3 star rating of this accommodation. Officially it is 2 star.
The apartments were really nicely set out, but towel changes twice weekly and bed linen changes once weekly were not enough, this will be even worse in the height of summer.
The staff were very friendly and thorough with the cleaning, but the pool terrace was only scrubbed once in the three weeks we were there.
Gordon, the chef in the pool bar provided good value for money meals, but on our last night we were disappointed with the poor quality meal served by tino, whose manner that evening left much to be desired. If this had been the meal we received at the start of our holiday, we would not have eaten there again.

We traveled with Prentice travel for a two week self catering holiday that we got for a great price, apartments were of a very high standard, rooms were very spacious, and the location was great two minutes from beach.

I have just returned from 2 weeks in the Gran Amadores Apartments and I cannot recommend this accomodation highly enough.
The apartment was spacious and had a microwave, toaster and hob with 2 ceramic rings in the kitchen. There was no kettle, but this could be hired from reception.
There is no air conditioning in the apartments, but it is possible to hire a fan for 25 euros + 10 euros deposit for 2 weeks. As the weather was exceptionally hot, we were more than glad to hire the fan.
The apartments are very clean and the domestic staff in the complex work extremely hard to make sure the rooms are always spotless. The rooms are cleaned 5 times a week.
The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much bother for them.
Entertainment in the complex is limited to such things as a BBQ and quiz night. However, there is always music playing in the cafe/bar area.

Hi there everybody, well me, hubby, and our 4 children went to Gran Amadores only a few weeks ago.
Kids first time abroad and we all loved it. The apartments were very clean staff very pleasant, and the pool area very clean and tidy.
Scotch corner is the cafe/bar area which plays music nearly always, and the franchise owners are Scottish and called Jim and Heather, who are really nice. There is entertainment seemingly all the time at the cafe/bar, but we went from 29 Aug - 12 Sept, so kids back at school there and only entertainment we could get there was Thursday nights which was Barbecue night. Included were bingo and a quiz then usually some mad drinking game, for 2 adults and 4 kids like us it cost 34 euros, (roughly
