Myself & my mum & sister stayed at the greensea apartments i have to say having read some of the reviews above are completely blown out of proportion it was spotless, very safe & on your arrival your greeted by some vry fluffy characters.haha Aw miss the place. Was lovely to wake up to sunshine every morning sit on ur patio coffee in hand & relax.
Later in the evening go for a stroll down the side gate of resort so you avoid the steep hill, cross the motorway & into san agustin & i recommend the Catollina italian restaurant ran by a lovely gent called Carmenea the wine & menu so top class & so friendly cannot wait to be back in jan 05.And do check out the lovely shoe shop in the shopping centre great bargains.Had a lovely holiday!!

Where do I start? THIS IS NOT IN PLAYA DES INGLES it is located 20min walk away, in Playa De las Burras - San Agustin with a horrible rocky beach.

We had dirty sheets to start with, after 5 days of complaining we finally go them changed! Shower was broken and the water only lasts 2minutes (and I'm not joking)

If your a vergeterian, the rep will tell you Spanish don't cater for vegeterians so tough.

Most of the sunbeds are broken by the beach, the pool was dirty on 2 of the days. We was refused drinks at 10.45pm although drinks all inc should be served till 11pm. Snacks, what snacks? Most of the time they didn't do them, when they did, they didn't have all snacks.

The doors upstairs have big gaps in them so you will need to request a further 2-3 blankets because it gets so cold over there.

Entertainment is all spoken in German so don't expect to stay at the hotel for the evening unless you can undestand German and enjoy German songs you have never heard of.

I have loads more I could put down but instead I will advise anyone not to go here. If you have just booked, good luck!!

Every english person we saw on our holiday was moved to another resort, so that must say something.

We had a cool holiday in Gran Canaria. The apartments are very basic but ok just to sleep in. The hotel food at the bar is rank. The first day we got there we were served a practically raw hamburger!!!LOVELY.

It smells a bit of sewage but is bearable. After you have gone down the steepest hill in the world, through a building site, it is just a short walk to San Augustin, where there are a few lovely restaurants - Tony's Grill is EXCELLENT - great service and 3 lovely courses for about 6 or 7 quid. There is also a cool little English bar that serves pints, screens all live games and Eastenders!!A very friendly barman called Dave works there.

The pool was freezing so we only went in twice!!Preferred the sea. I don't think the apartments are as bad as what some people are saying...I think a holiday is what you make it!!

OH...TV's are a bit tempremental in the rooms but you get a movie channel, sky sports and news channels and lots of rubbish!!1 euro per hour.

Staff were fairly friendly.

Every year I go to Gran Canaira with my dad, as he will only go here!

We normally stay in Puerto Rico, but we had a last minute deal so Allocation on Arrival for us ! When we were told we were staying in San augustin, we weren't all that pleased. On arrival, we thought...uh-oh where are we!

I must admit when daylight came it didn't seem all that bad. It was within walking distance to the nearest shops/restaurants and they seemed ok. The staff were helpful, as we were self catering, we didn't eat in the hotel at all, it's so cheap over there, it pays to eat out every nite anyway.

We walked to Playa De Ingles and Maspalomas and was easliy within walking distance, and I'm not a walking person at all. There are also bus services to where ever you want to go on the island so no problem there. The last bus back from PR is 2am!!!(we were told 10pm by reps!)

As we knew a DJ in PR who told us the truth! I must admit that normally staying in PR I would much rather stay there as it was a bit of a pain travelling by local transport. Other than that the apartments were gleaming and not 1 cockroach, so I was well pleased.

This was a holiday from hell!!

I would not recommend my worst enemy with children to go to this resort. The apartments were very basic, with sockets hanging off walls. TV unit only had three legs and nearly fell on my 18 month old. Ant infested and a lot of stray scabby looking cats that kept trying to get into the apartments. Pool area at night was terrible, very poor lighting which meant that you couldn't let the kids run about. Entertainment was awful when it was on that is.

Food on site in the hotel was horrible unless you like eating liver 2 or 3 times a week. There was major roadworks going on outside the apartments that we were not told about. We had to walk through it every day with 5 young kids with huge concrete bollards being lifted over your head.

I could go on and on and on, but I would plead with you never to go to these apartments as when we left the whole bus cheered going home! Reps told us that green seas was being taken out of their brochure as it was sub standard.

I complained at resort and to first choice when we came home and I recieved a

Just back from Green Sea aparthotel and it wasn't as bad as I had expected after reading some of the reviews!!

Not one cockroach to be seen the whole week - which was a huge relief!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our apartments were cleaned 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

The apartments were clean but very basic - one of our kitchen cupboards had no bottom in it!! As it was on two levels we were very aware of security and felt that we had to lock the apartment everytime we went up to the bedroom. other than this security was not an issue - there were security guards in the complex and the bottom gate is now locked all the time and you are given a key when you arrive. one of the times we left the apartment the cleaner was there and she hadn't locked it when she left so this is something to be aware of.

All in all the apartments were nice enough if in need of a little paint and tidying up but no complaints.

The entertainment staff do there best with lots of activities on during the day and plenty to keep any kids occupied.
