Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Mogan Princess for the last two weeks in June. We had a brilliant time and would both recommend this hotel for everyone. We felt June was the best time to come as it was not too busy and we were never left having to wait for a table at meal times or having to reserve a sun bed with our towels as there were hundreds. The hotel is very big and it can take a while to get to your room but once there it is worth the treck. Ours was spotlessly clean with a nice balcony, fridge, hair dryer and they are all air conditioned. You can pay a bit extra to hire a safe which is always a good option.

The reviews we read were all very true and helpful. I can see why someone would

We holidayed at Mogan Princess on a half board basis.

Absolutely perfect for us as you can venture out for the day and just need a small bite to eat as breakfast and dinner were both great. The only possible grumble would be the food was not always very hot and one day not enough meat options for my partner.Apart from that the food was fantastic with a lovely selection and very helpful chefs.

Hotel room to our surprise was two rooms, one with bed the other with sleeper couch and kitchenette. Two bathrooms and two balconies with breathtaking views. We spent much of our holiday on the balcony taking photos.

Location of the hotel is a little out of the way for those wanting lots to do on their holiday but if like us you wanted to relax and have some peace and quiet this is definately the place to go.

The daily animation/hourly activities are a little poor but good enough to keep my partner quiet for quite some time. The free champagne for winning some of the games was a great perk and we got to know some lovely people this way.

Evening entertainment was at times a little corny but fun all the same. Each evening the 3 euro cocktail of the day was a hit for me.

Would I visit this hotel again? Absolutely but I would go for longer than a week.

Hotel receptionists very helpful, beautiful views from every room overlooking bay. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from it all, this is your hotel.

It did unfortunately rain on one day which meant that getting around the hotel was a little hazardous due to tiling.

The pool area obviously gets wet and witnessed quite a few little ones slipping up and banging their heads - try telling children not to run! Wide variety of food served at breakfast and evening meals, catering for all nationalities.

Slow service in bar areas in the evening, mainly due to understaffing. Varied entertainment each evening for adults at 22.00 hours for about 45 - 60 minutes and then most people disappeared.

Beware if you go for an evening stroll as the road leading to the hotel is not completed and are mainly unlit therefore you could quite easily injure yourself.

We enjoyed 1 of the best holidays we have ever had at this hotel everything about it is excellent (well apart from the entertainment) but nobody goes on holiday for that do they.

If you want somewhere where you can kick back and relax then belive me when I say that this hotel is for you.

The views are fantastic, as are the resturants, the boat trips (dolphins/whales) are great and cheap.

There is just about nothing bad to say about this Hotel or Gran Canaria

We will definitely be going back prob next year.

Excellent hotel. Apartments are spacious and clean and the views across the sea beautiful.
Food varied and plentiful and always hot and constantly replenished by the staff.

You really need a car to appreciate the local area
Puerto Mogan is worth a visit with its charming harbour and shops not to mention the weekly market.

A little further is the lovely man made beach of playa amadores which has ample cafes and restaurants for lunch.
The only downside was the entertainment very poor which meant that the bar was almost empty everynight. We tended to use our balcony for a night cap.

If you are looking for a quality hotel with good food in quiet surroundings then this one is for you.

The Mogan Princess is a well run hotel, with extremely helpful staff, every request we made was fulfilled immediately. The hotel was immaculately clean and the maid service was excellent. Both of the pools were spotlessly clean, though a little cold.

We stayed over Christmas and the New Year and the food was excellent, the normal buffet was replaced by waiter service. For the rest of our stay the evening meals were very good, plenty of choice with a first class salad bar. I never managed to get to dessert!

The location is brilliant with amazing views over Playa Taurito and Puerto de Mogan. The only things that let the location down are the fact that the pools are in the shade until 11.30, and it is a bit out of the heart of things. It's OK walking down to the shops but on a warm day it would be quite a struggle doing the 1.5 km walk back up.

Entertainment was average, probably be better without Emilio.

Hotel very clean and rooms immaculate. Pools exceptionally clean and staff very helpful.

Food varied and plentiful even during busy periods. Definitely felt we got value for money.

Location a bit out of town, but we hired a car (recommended) and ventured into Mogan (lovely village), Puerto Rico (crowded and fully of timeshare touts). Nearby Taurito was nice with Lido and local Spar and small beach and restaurants.

We booked a late deal (week before)at this hotel and knew where we were going. We wanted a little sun and a little luxury just before the Christmas rush! We got exactly that! We had a junior suite which is two rooms with interconnecting doors, one had beds the other fitted kitchen and lounge furniture. It meant we had a bathroom each. The hotel is clean, and superior, the food could not be faulted, we took the option of AI later in the week and were not dissappointed, even cocktails were included! The hamburgers were freshly cooked as were the salads and pasta and there was a good range of dishes in the evening as well. The pools were wonderful and sunbeds easily available with no silly towels on beds. There was entertainment every night but we didn't go, it was lovely to sit on the balcony and relax...the views are breathtaking!

The location is a bit out of the way and up a steep hill, a bit daunting when you first arrive late at night but everything you could need is in the hotel. We only ventured into Puerto Mogan for shopping one day, we went in the courtesy bus and it was a nice short trip, we took a taxi home and that was not expensive. Puerto Mogan is called Little Venice, very aptly! A lovely village type area with a harbour and marina, lots of nice little bars and coffee shops.

I would definately go back and take my son who is special needs and feel that he was safe in the hotel and in Puerto Taurito and Puerto Mogan.

After visiting previous princess hotels we decided that we would like to try the new mogan princess. We knew the area from a previous stay in taurito so we knew that the hotel was on a high cliff.

It was a lot further from the beach than we first thought. The hotel runs a free bus to and from the beach but timings are poor.

The hotel was very clean and the rooms were suites which we weren

The hotel was opened in 2003, which is a great feature of this hotel, since everything is quite new.
It is a aparthotel, which meant that our room had two interconnecting rooms: one wiht the bed and bathroom and another one with the kitchenette, sofa and another bathroom just equal to the first room. Since we were Full board we hardly used the 2nd room, which was really a waste.
The rooms have wonderful views, because all face the beach and the bay.
The hotel location gives it its great views but has many inconvenients. It is located above the other hotels in Taurito beach, which all belong to the Pincess group and are quite old looking. To reach the beach you have to walk about 1,5 kms because the there is no direct downward path, just a road that pushes you far from the beach. So this is not a very pleasant journey under the sun (yep, no shadows).
The hotel supplies a bus to Taurito, Puerto Mogan and Puerto Rico, but its schedules are not compatible with lunch (if you rely on it, you will miss lunch). Also, this bus serves all Princess Hotels so it can fill up rapidely. There are other public busses but about 750 mts from the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful with its 2 large swimming pools and the bar has a balcon which is gorgeous at sunset. But other than that there isn't really much to do.
