Good Hotel in all areas except one - the Lifts constantly break down. We were trapped twice in one day.

We witnessed many families stuck in the lifts during our stay.

Hotel staff seemed used to it and uninterested in fixing the problem. Lots of shrugging shoulders. Rep offered to move us.

We all thought it was one of the best holidays we have ever been on before because the food was fantastic although there should have been a bit more choice!

The location was peaceful but still exciting and was close to the beach, and shops nearby.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were quite friendly, although they could have been a lot more polite about general issues.

The views were very nice especially at night with few other hotels lights etc. I must state that there should have been maybe a few bars and pubs in the Taurito area as we had to hire a car and travel to Puerto Rico shopping centre to find good nightlife (I recommend whoever reading this to visit there if possible!)

In my opinion the hotel overall was beautiful.

The Pros
The Hotel itself was very clean and the food was Fantastic. The majority of the staff were friendly and willing to assist. The pool was fantastic and clean and the views of the bay were beautiful.
On most evenings the entertainment was enjoyable. The Cons
At the time of our visit the Lido opposite was still being built so there was alot of building work and noise going on that we were not informed of by Thompsons.
Also during our stay we had to move rooms on 3 seperate occasions as the Air Conditioning did not work on floors above the 5th.
The lifts were always breaking down and we were forced on a number of occasions to carry a baby and pushchair down five flights of stairs!
The majority of people at this hotel was Germans but this may have had something to do with the time of year we travelled.

The hotel is a Thomson Platinum Hotel, so as you'd expect the hotel itself cannot be faulted, it is clean, well maintained and fulfills most requirements for the discerning visitor. 9 out of 10.

Sadly the hotel is in the noisiest resort I have ever visited. We took a late break and told the travel agent we were looking for a quiet break away from it all, on Doctor's orders. No joy there then and not a hint from the agent or Thomson
