The apartments were clean and the pool area,didnt really speak to the hotel staff just picked up keys at start of week and handed them in at the end.Location was good only had to walk up 300 steps!!!! Entertainment was good for families but dont expect to sleep by the pool because there is a lot of games in the day.would tell all my mates to go there.

Stayed in Arizona Apts end May/Beg June 2004. Found them very spacious and in very good condition (including furniture). Kitchen fully equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 ring hob and full size fridge/freezer. Plenty dishes and cutlery. Cleaned almost every day (except sundays) and regularly got clean towels. Couldn't fault any of this at all.
Didn't stay round the pool much as the beach is only 5-10mins walk away. But pool always looked clean. Busy during the day with kids activities etc.
Generally the apartments are good value for money. Well set out on different levels with own terrace. Plenty flowers and plants to take away the bland whiteness of some places. You do get roaches, but then its the Canary islands-they live there too! (and they're easy to squish!) Apartments on the right hand side of the 'valley' if you're facing up from the beach - gets the sun from lunchtime onwards.
Some noise from the 'centre' at night but not so that you can't sleep. A few glasses of sangria should help that anyway if need be! Lots of steps but gets easier and there is a lift to all 'levels'! Would recommend these apartments.

When we arrived at the airport we found that we had not been put down to get on the coach to make our own way but we were allowed to get on a coach and they dropped us off in the middle of puerto rico to get a taxi !! (which we already paid for coach trans)when we got to our hotel we found out we wernt even checked in after some ringing around they made the mistake got our keys and went to the room!! Hotel was very clean and really homley Would definatley go back again Lots of cats around but dont bother you too much!!
By the pool loads to do but a bit noisey with sally doing children activities !! ver good and clean but baby pool is freezing cold i dont know how they expect a baby to go in there!!

Found the apartment very roomy and clean, staff very pleasant plenty of clean towels but had to pay for tv slot meter. Guard on duty all day and night around the grounds, gated areas locked all the time but you have your own key. Pool a bit small and freezing only one flight of steps to the apartments. Noisy late on from the centre, need plenty of cocktails to sleep.

Myself friend and 3 children between us stayed here jan 04, Mrs mop came in, did her bit, no complaints there.
Snack bar was very cheap, and food was always good.
Round the bend from bars, restaurants and shops, we never got disturbed by noise from the bars. One night a show in the park was a bit bassy, but who goes on holiday to have early nights!
Staff very friendly and helpful, always someone around, security wandering round at night time.
I put entertainment as 5, hotel didnt have any, but if you have neighbours like we had, they was entertainment enough, 2 weeks in gc, and they didnt go out, they were on the cadge for teabags first morning there, sugar the next day, can opener the day after, they whooooop'd when we left, we gave them a weeks shoppin, they wouldnt have had to leave the patio until it was hometime! uve seen the programmes holidays from hell/neighbours from hell, they fell in both categories, so like i say, for the times we were in (not often) entertainment 2 steps away!

We visited the Arizona on a family holiday. The apartment was nice and clean, very spacious with 2 floors and a patio at the rear.
We had a great holiday and the Arizona is great for a base close to all the discos and restaurants, with the waterpark and beach within walking distance!
I have been to Puerto Rico three times and would definitely go back to the Arizona again.

When we arrived at the Arizona apartments we found that we were right at the bottom of the apartments which was very fortunate as we didnt have any of the steps to walk up.Try to request apartments 70-90. The pool area was very clean as it was cleaned early every morning,although it was very slippy as I later found out and hurt my back. As for the noise, we didnt hear hardly anything.There was reports of break ins while we were there, alot of people do say that they are security jobs so double lock your door and keep the key in. The apartments were clean and reasonably sized.Only saw one cockroach.There are also lots of cats.The cleaners come early so dont expect a lie in past 9am. Arizona was a great holiday,top place for location. Have a great holiday :)

On reading the report by Kammckie I thought that it was my duty to add a little report as I thought that they must be moaners, so I say ignore what they say as we where there the same time and we could see them by the pool and all they did was moan

Just back today! We found the staff in the snack bar to be very helpful (the reps did rep stuff, "wanna buy a bus trip etc")!
The accommodation was cleaned but very very shoddy and old looking, the pool and snackbar area was very slippery with almost hourly tears from children as they slipped over.
Lots of cats and @#%$-roaches, now the reps did warn us about the @#%$-roaches, but not on the scale!! We witnessed the family next door having to remove about fifteen to twenty the last night.
For our part we had one or two running round outside the front door and a couple in side over the week/... But feel someone needs to addresses this fully, ask questions before you go!
Overall a good break, but we paid a lot of money being half term week for substandard rooms, bugs "management of a major hazzard, ie the pool area".

Very clean and tidy with the pool being cleaned every morning. No breakins or anything stolen. Brilliant location close to all the shops and bars. Kitchen was a bit basic could do with toaster etc.
Entertainmet was a bit poor, mainly dvd's being played but was safe enough. Would definately go back to resort and Arizona apartments. And there wasnt too many cockroaches.
