We didn't have the maid service as often as most people, towels were changed probably twice a week, when the cleaner/maid did come she didn't do a very good job at sweeping the floors etc. The hotel was fairly clean. I did have to mend the toilet three times, the shower rail fell down twice and the room we stayed in was rather smelly, but for the amount of time we spent in the room we coped. Be warned you will have to be up very early to get a sunbed, seriously some people were putting towels out on a night, most people you could here them going out at around 5.30am - 6.00am (You know who you are). The food was average, very repetative though, although it was edible and you could usually find something, even if it was a breadroll with cheese. The location was set a bit far away from all the main shops and bars, altough there were a few not to far away. Legends is definately worth a visit. The hotel staff are fabulous and very sociable. Now the entertainment team, where do I begin. Pete, Helen and Georgia are so fantastic and they make the holiday for you. The kids loved them, to be honest the Ficus is so lucky to have them, they are worthy of so much more. We did meet some lovely people at the Ficus and we all made the most of our holiday.

Well Well Well where do we start hotel was kept tidy. the food was ample and good always sit down to a good meal. The hotel was probably a ggod 5 min walk to the beach.staff for us was always polite and tried to help out as much as they could. the entertainment team worked hard during the day and early evening with the chilren. and after 9 for the adults they were brill hats off to Pete/Helen/Georgia.although we were all inc a couple of nights we ate out and we would highly recommend a place called HAMMYS just up on the beach it small and the food is bliss and very reasonably priced. looking to go back to the Ficus next year a must for family with children and would easily recommend it to any one else.

Oddly enough, the positive and negative comments posted here are both correct.

This hotel depends very much on the traveller.
If all you want is sun, a pool, food you can live on and childrens entertainment, this place is for you. The childrens entertainment extends into the evening and even though it supposed to be for adults after 9.30 (and the bingo) it doesn't raise much beyond Dik and Dom.
There isn't a great deal in the way of shops and bars in the location, but hey, you're all inclusive.
Staff extremely helpful and you're guaranteed a warm reception.
However, for the more cosmopolitan traveller, this is nothing more than Butlins with sun.
At 11 every day you are treated to 'Lets get loud' by the entertainment crew (who love the sound of their own voices) and this gives it a 'groundhog day' feeling.
The lack of somewhere to sit in the evening (ie a bar)without being subjected to the reps entertainment is a definite drawback.

Tip - take a bit of extra cash so you can get away from the place at least a couple of times during your stay.

Just got back from a 7 day stay at Ficus. Went in June school holidays with my kids and have to say this is one of the best holidays we have ever had if not the best. It was a bit of a bargain so we weren't expecting miracles but it was absolutely fantastic. The kids didn't want to come home!!

The entertainment team - Georgia, Pete and Helen were superb. They seemed to work every minute of the day. They try to get everyone involved and in such a nice way that you want to join in.

The staff at the hotel are lovely, nothing is to much bother for them. We travelled with Jet 2 and so didn't have a rep at the hotel but the thomas cook rep was forever helpful.

The food is typical buffet food, very nice but sometimes a bit repetitive but saying that there is always something that you like as the variety is good.

This is only a small hotel so I should imagine in peak season you may have to queue for the buffet service. Yes you do have to pay for the tv 14 euros for the week but you get a lot more english channels than most hotels for this so it is worth it just to keep kids happy. You even get cartoon network!!

Overall a great holiday in a great little hotel. When we were at the Ficus there were some families who had been there before and had come back, think we're gonna be one of these families as we thought it was great!!!!
