This is an excellent hotel and a credit to Riu. The two hotels on one site have been merged to create the Clubhotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote Resort.

They are linked by garden pathways or by a covered walkway/bridge. The whole complex is very clean and well maintained particularly our bedroom which was very pleasant and well equipped.

The staff in all departments were very friendly and always willing to please. The quality and choice of food on the buffets was also very good and my only small criticism was that some items were not replenished quickly enough at busy times.
Having said that there are always plenty of other choices!

The entertainment team worked very hard and produced some very accomplished performances in the evening shows. The all inclusive system worked very well, even down to 1.5lt bottles of water being provided to guests on request.

This is very much an international hotel, catering for a variety of nationalities which we find adds to our holiday interest.

My girlfriend and I booked up a late deal to this hotel not really knowing what it was going be like. We really weren't bothered what the hotel was like because we just needed a break away.

When we arrived at reception I thought we'd been dropped off at the wrong hotel. It was magnificent the luggage was taken away by a porter and we were taken to our room. We were given a welcome drink and had a quick check-in.

When getting to the room and opening the door we found ourselves in room big enough for 8 people, with air-con, sky TV and a fan and even enough wardrobe space for my girlfriend and all her shoes and clothes.

The food from the buffet restaurants with such a variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the theme night restaurants which you could book up for also fabulous too.

Getting drinks from one of the many bars including the swim up pool bar, which was a bonus, was not a problem there were plenty of staff on who were friendly and happy to help.

Overall if your looking for a quiet break away at a good affordable price then I would definitely recommended this hotel.
