Very nice small resort. No beach. Quite a few bars scattered around. We actually met Ashley Peacock from Coronation Street whilst we were there. Apparently, he is a frequent visitor. Food wise, Beckham's is a good choice with an extensive menu.

Callao Salvaje is an up and coming resort but is more coming than up at the moment. It's very small but good if you don't expect lots of evening entertainment or a beach. Be prepared to travel into Costa Adeje / Las Americas for nightlife / beaches.

It is a Building site, with a quarry for a beach. Dog mess on the pavements and if you use the local bus stop prepare to be mugged as a few coulpes where when we where their.
A coulpe of bars, resturants and supermarkets.

The resort is a bit out of the way, that said if you drive to Las Americas it is only 6 mins away or there is a bus and taxis.

There is no beach!!!!but should be soon, so they say. Not the best place for children but enough bars etc to keep you amused for a week if you are out and about for the days, but it could be very boring if the weather was in any way not the best.

Recommend it for couples who like to get out during the day but like the more sedate evenings. Two or three very good restaurants and lots of ok ones.

In a few years when it gets finished should be a nice little resort.

The resort itself is very quiet with a few shops and bars. The beach has potential - a project in waiting! The bus stop and taxi rank are 100 meters away and offer good service.

To be honest we didn't really see to much of the resort but what we did see was ok.

Supermarkets nearby, gift shops etc...

Buses were quite frequent and reasonably priced, or there are always taxis about.

Beach is a bit grotty although probably made to look worse because of the black sand.

I thought that Callao Salvaje was lovely.

There was a selection of pubs and restaurants and it was generally quiet and peaceful.

I would definitely visit the resort again.

I think the resort is having a face lift at the moment, because of the cranes etc, it was OK, there was no beach which was a pain, but we did take the courtesy bus to Playa which was handy.

We went to a couple of the Bars after a stroll out which were nice, and friendly.

Resort not too bad, needed a bit of sprucing up. A lot of unfinished building work but none taking place while we were there. (thank goodness).

Beach not really a beach just a cove, needs much improvement.

Wouldn't go back to resort again.
