We have stayed at the Bouganville many times over the last few years and rate it as one of best we have stayed in Tenerife. Although needing a bit of TLC. There is a refurbishment programme currently underway. Due to be completed by the end of June. Hope so, as we are returning on 15 July.
For refreshment prices that are easy on the pocket, try the Pheasant Plucker pub across the road. Tony and his staff are very friendly, prices for drinks are very reasonable, especially between 12 & 7.

Just got back from a fantastic 7 day holiday in this hotel. We are already looking to book the same hotel for next year, only this time we will be going for 2 weeks. You cannot go wrong with this hotel!!

Just got back from this hotel, this is the second time we have stayed there and love it!!
The hotel is in a fantastic location with many nice restaurants nearby. The food was to a very high standard and the selection available was very good. The entertainment was OK but there were many restaurants and bars near by which provided good entertainment.
The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and the maid service is good. I wouldnt think twice about going back to this hotel as it is fantastic!

I stayed in this Hotel the 23rd March to the 6th April 2004 on Halfboard and found the Bouganville a very spotlessly clean place.
The food was excellent throughout my stay, would add food was hot when it should be and there was always a good election at all times.
I thought the locasion was ideal in a lovely area overlooking the sea, there were enough places to either shop,eat or drink at fairly reasonable prices.
Hotel staff were very polite and helpful at all times, inspite of some occassions when they were very busy.
The entertainment was excellent and they worked very hard on the shows they put on.
I liked this Hotel so much I sent them a email on my return home, and they very politely thanked me for taking the trouble.
September the 14th I am going to the Bouganville Playa for another 14 days holiday,as I liked it so much and I am 76
Its is very possible I will book another holiday there for March or April next year 2005.

stayed at bouganvilla playa last august, loved every moment, food was quite good but some days abit cold. service in hotel was fab all the staff were really happy and helpfull, the hotle was spotless no bugs any were, the diebetic counter, at breakfast and dinner, was first class, rooms abit dated but loved aircon.the pools were good apart from the millions off blowww up beds in it might take a pin this time, the tiles around the pools were abit slippy to, but that was after afew beers ha ha eny way we have been to much worst places, and lets face it as long as you have a comfy bed, food and drink and a fridge to put some water in to take your paracetimol the next morning what more could you wish for so ill be back bye

We stayed at the Bouganville in July 2003. We arrived at 2.30am and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and security guard who handed us a glass of champagne as soon as we arrived!
The hotel is very good! The staff are extremely friendly and although we don't have any kids, we were very impressed by the kids club.
We received clean towels every day of our 2 weeks stay and the bedding and room was cleaned every day too.
Food was exceptionally good and staff were very quick to clean up any tables. It had a wide range of tastes to suit everybody, I'm a very fussy person so the food must have been good!!??
Entertainment was good, especially for the kids, I can't stress enough about the staff who entertained the kids, they were fantastic with them, it was nice to see this.
The bar staff were very professional. One gentleman who served us was very quick and always made a point of saying hello' to us after our first night at the bar. If you weren't sitting at the bar there was always a waiter or waitress to attend to your bar order. Service is excellent!
I can not say a bad thing about this hotel. We found no faults at all. It's what you call a Hotel!

Oh yes, we would certainly visit this hotel again. The only thing wrong about our holiday was it was too short.
And the clientele at the hotel was great...friendly Italians!! This could be classified as an all adult hotel as there were hardly any children at all and the ones there were very well behaved.
Everyone was friendly -- food was good -- no complaints!

This is the best hotel ever. I have been to thousands of hotels but this place tops it all....
