When we arrived we found an infestation of cockroaches so we complained only to be asked how much we had paid for the holiday. Then we were told there are a lot of people here who have paid a lot more than us, so we cant move you (my friends were staying here so I didnt want to move). I found that the maids worked realy hard and wernt the best looking but the ones working in the daylight seemed better class with a proper uniform. So after over 12 months thinking about this holiday I now know how this is a 3* apartment.
When anyone comes to look they show them the inner rooms.
A word of advise if you are put in the wings (the opposite side to the water park underneath you is a 24 hour laundry).
I always take ear plugs, but the sound of the manually operated roller shutter door opening and closing still haunts me now I never had a good nights sleep in this place so my advise is dont go allocated on arrival

We went to Tenerife as a family holiday to playa de las americas - mailuba park.
Our room was very clean and tidy, towels was changed every other day and bed covers every day which was very good.
The hotel staff at the splash pool bar was very friendly and reception was very good we had to pay

hotel was clean, not much of a view as we was closed in.
a few cockroaches, apart from that lovely
self catering. fantastic food esp mixed grill from steake house down from the hotel
hotel location all up and down hills but wasent botherd as kids loved it running up n down them.
hotel staff was very friendly and likeable. at the splash bar pool very clean and shalow end great for kids.
kids joined the kids club and thought it was fantastic with the stuff playing games all day with them in the pool
splashing each other and messing around.
