Returned to Laguna Park 1 for the second year running and had yet another fantastic holiday. We recommended the apartments to our friends and they loved it too.
Only downside is too hire a kettle, toaster and fans which cost altogether about 80 euros. Go and buy them from local stores for 30 euros. Staff were friendly. Entertainment was brilliant, Neil worked tirelessly throughout the day and the night and made the holiday. Killer pool, killer darts, table tennis competitions and rifle shooting through the day, quizzes, bingo and 2 shows and play your cards right made the evening entertainment superb.
Turn right out of the apartments and visit The Ship, staff and food is excellent. Met great new friends in this friendly place would recommend to anyone

me an me fella stay at this appartment an it was far better than we expected rooms very tidy entertainment was excellent. pool was a bit cold and had a little to much salt in but was v/clean never ate ther so can't comment. we went dwn to the hotel bar 4 happy which is worth it(2 pints

We went in may, only went self catering cause a few of us where fussy eaters, the rooms where clean, location was reasonable, staff where very friendly, unfotunately we didnt get any entertainment this time. I would definetly go back to this hotel again and again.

Recommended for its location, pool and entertainment.
we stayed in block E, overlooking the pool and with sea views.Room was adequate,clean towels 7 out of 10 days.Kitchen equipment dated. beds uncomfortable and although clean sheets, the blankets were old and filthy. Floor was not swept in all the days we were there, so was really dirty.
The entertainment was very good,led by the excellent Big Ed,who did a great job with both the kids and the adults alike.
Although basic, i would certainly use this hotel again, as its idealy located for all the bars and restaurants in the area.
Its only 5 minutes to the beach using the passage next to the Irish pub facing hotel.

The maids came in daily (except Sunday)to change towels etc. The apartment was cleaned from top to bottom twice during the one week stay. The hotel staff are very friendly and Big Ed the entertainer is fab with kids and adults alike. My 12 year old spent every afternoon playing pool, darts, volleyball etc with other holidaymakers at no extra cost to what you paid for the apartment. Evenings were taken up with animal shows, game shows, discos, comedians and much more. Could not fault this accommodation at all. Will definately stay here again.

we were in room 304e it was fab. the room was clean and big. it was in the middle of the pool,with a fab view of the sea.the enertainment was great. the enertainment manger was called ed he is great. the walk to the beach is ok but once you get there be prepared to be assled every 5 mins by timeshare and water sport wanting you to book trips. the pool is big but you cannot were tshirts in the pool if your child is burnt then they will be allowed the life guard will want to check no burns no tshirts. the food in the restrant is good. we ate ther nerly every day only to be told on the day before we came home we could not eat in there beacause they did not have enough food by the cook they had only made enough for half board customers. i was out raged by this after eating there 11 days out of 14. the hotel staff are great nothig to much trouble.

Staff were very friendly & helpful.
On the first Night we arrived there, we were given a apartment that we didn't wish to stay in due to being on the 5th floor. A Man Altered the arrangement to a second floor with sea and pool view. 202E apartment was good enough for us.
The Cleaners came with clean sheets & Towels oh & Toilet rolls, 5 times during our stay of 7 day's.
The pool & pool area was cleaned each day except for Sunday(Day off.) Lots of Lilo's to go around however at 9am when unchained a few people started to go down to get there lilo's and places sorted out for the day.
Toaster $10Euro's wk - Kettle $20Euro's wk with a deposit of $5euro's Each. Tv (if needed)$5Euros 24hours.
Bed's well abit hard,try to take soft pillows cause they're like sleeping on rocks.
Entertainment OK, Birdshow & snakeshow. Puppets & harliquins. kids disco, Bingo & quize's and karaoke.Drinks cocktails $4-$4.90euros (coco loco) mmm

Stayed in Laguna Park 1. Rooms were clean and towels and bedding chaanged daily. We did not eat at the hotel nor did we bother with the hotel entertainment.the poolwas great and was cleaned daily.
The only downside to a good holiday was that we were robbed of a large amount of money on our first night of arrival[we arrived at 2am]. Four other roooms were also burgled on that night.
I would advise any visitors to be vigilant and book a safe on arrival and not wait until the following morning.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome...the apartments were clean with great maid service.. pool area nice..water cold but it is only April. Had party of 7 ranging from 20's to 80's, apartments on ground floor next to each other as requested. Reception staff welcoming, especially Juan and very helpful as I found out when I locked my keys in my suitcase, someone was with me within 5 minutes. Did not have time to try the restraunt or entertainment as we were on holiday to sing in different places but others said how good entertainment was.. lots of room round the pool as it is April...would stay there again.
