We were all really impressed with this hotel. It was kept really clean, the staff were all friendly and the facilities were good. The children all loved the kids club which offered a good range of activities to keep them amused. The only gripe being that some of them incurred extra costs (2 euros 50 for face painting!) The food was excellent. The pool was good except that although there was a childrens pool the main pool was very deep which meant that even our 8 year old who is a competent swimmer had to be closely supervised. The entertainment was okay - the children liked it! The location wasnt great - a 15 - 20 minute walk to the beach, although there were plently of taxis and buses. We had a couple of good day trips out. Terra Mitica was excellent for all the family and the waterpark and mundomar were both well worth a visit and only a short walk from the hotel. Overall we felt it was great value for money and we would defintely return to this hotel.

ROOMS are like the travel lodge style with twin beds pushed together and a bed made up like a sofa with a full size pull out mattress under like a draw. TV (spanish but with CNN news) and a radio which plays through ceiling speaker. Air conditioning excellent once we got a card that worked - wonderful at night as you could turn it down low so it was very quiet but effective. Bathrooms was spotless on arrival with a wall mounted hairdryer. Very clean with new towels each day and beds made up and bins emptied, and sheets changed twice a week. Down side - floors were not swept (noticable after a day at the beach) and the bathroom was not cleaned every day. With 2 adults and 2 children in the room all beds are used which does not leave much floor space. Also excellent room safe as you choose own code via a card (2 euros per day).

FOOD was very good I thought but a lot of people were complaining it was not 'English' enough but there is always salad and chips at each meal, lots of pasta meat dishes included roast beef, steak pie (very nice), meat balls roast and grilled chicken etc. but veg did tend to be mediteranian style and canned carrots. For picky kids (like mine) the snack time 3.45 to 5.15pm might be best as it had hot dogs, burgers, toasties and the like.

LOCATION is about a mile slightly up hill from the beach at the east end of the resort and is quiet but only 300m (up quite a steep hill) to Mundomar (dolphins, sea lions, penguins...not bad) and the water park Aqua...something.

ENTERTAINMENT in the evenings is poor, kids mini disco 8.15-9.00pm then a few games of bingo followed by a "show" singer/band/parrots. We only saw a few and they were not the greatest but we didn't go for the evening entertainment so no big deal. Kids Clubs were good but 3-8yrs club would run things for 1.5hrs at a time and the times varied - some days starting at 10.00am others nothing till 3.00pm.

HOTEL STAFF tended to be either very good (Daniel in the restaurant, Jason and Steve mini disco and kids daytime activities) or very unsure, probably as it is a new hotel and the start of the season.

GENERALLY the hotel had a very relaxed feel but there were only just over half the rooms occupied and I feel there may be problems with seating in the restaurant and round the pool in busy times eg school hols. I would not put it as 4* more of a decent 3*.

ALL INCLUSIVE or not? We did, as I wanted an easy life and it was good to be able to get food when ever the kids wanted it and not worry about bottles of water and kids drinks BUT if you are planning on drinking the alcohol the inclusive menu is very limited, and to be honest awful, but you do get 25% off standard prices so you need to weigh up if it is worth it for you personally or not (also remember 'all inclusive' ends at 23.00).

What a super new hotel. Extremely well presented, clean and pleasantly untypical of the usual hell hole you end up in!!!
I would recommend this hotel for families as the entertainments team keep the children and you entertained from morning to late evening and you go to bed knowing you have had a fun packed day.
The food in the hotel is of a high standard, something for everyone and even something for picky children throughout the day.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were often called upon for various things and they assisted with a smile on their face, not a scowl in sight!!!
The entertainments team worked hard and their efforts are much appreciated by these 2 very satisfied families.
One down point, the rooms needed a sweep daily as the floor sometimes resembled the beach!

I went here in May 2004 & had only been open a couple of months. The hotel was very clean with Friendly staff.

On our 3rd night there, there was a huge thunder storm & my 4year old woke to a soaking bed as hole in ceiling :-(
Moved us within 2 hours to another room which had a view over pool.

We did have a view of main rd....Although we did have connecting rooms as my Parents & other 2children next door & we ended up other side of hotel.

The Entertainment was funny if you have a sense of humour!!! But I went into Benidorm town most nights as Thankfully grandparents more than happy to stay in hotel with the kiddies :-)

Benidorm pubs not really for the young ones ;-)

The food was ok & had something differant every night i mainly ate from the kids meals though.

The pool was Freezing in May and never actually went in it.

We did vist the water park twice as just behind the hotel so easy to walk. Be aware that the Reps will try & get you to buy tickets for here & Dolphin/animal park which is next door. We did this & then found out while at water park you could buy the Animal park tickets cheaper than half of what reps charged opps....Also the buy tickets for Terra Mitica elsewhere also.

Me & the kids loved this & wanted to come back as gave us another ticket on way out to go again for quarter of the price for return vist but sadly we had gone on our last day.

This is the best hotel ive been to & loved Benidorm. Wanted to go back here this year but the Grandparents (65 & 66) decided there choice this year as they put it 'Benidorm is like a Sunny Blackpool' so off to Alcudia instead but will be returning next year on own & for 2weeks as one week is not long enough.

We travelled with James Villas to Javea, however as we wanted to visit Benidorm we decided to travel down and check into a hotel for our last night before going to Alicante airport. We were expecting it to be very expensive as we asked how much it would be for the night, but were very surprised to find that it would only be approx

Wonderful new Hotel that certainly met all our high expectations.
Food was great, hotel rooms spotless and the staff outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome by the animation team (Steve and Jason) and our son was kept entertained by them everyday (sorry lads!, he is a handful!), but, thanks to them we had a great holiday. As our son is quite young, we stayed in at the hotel most evenings which again we enjoyed as there were various activities and entertainments laid on yet again by the hotels marvellous duo!
All the hotel staff were friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble.
Thankyou for a lovely holiday, see you all again next year!!!
