This holiday was with myself, my hubby & 2 small lads. The boys had a great time. The entertainment was very good for the children, including magic shows, children entertainment shows etc.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right next to the markets where you may get your bargains.
The hotel staff were reasonably friendly, could have spoken more english though.

The food was good but got a bit fed up of it in the second week because its mostly the same food each night.
We went all inclusive & the bar staff were not very forth coming if you asked them to make you a burger or fries etc outside restraunt hours, if your all inclusive they should be happy to cook for you whenever you want the food.

Free drinks are only served until 11.00pm, we ordered drinks one evening just before 11.00pm & they charged us for them, they said it was past 11.00pm. so take my advise & order quite a few rounds before 11.00pm if all inclusive.

The swimming pools are not aimed at small children, my children are 4 & 5 & the second pool was even too deep for me, i couldnt stand up in it. there is a small paddling pool for the toddlers but the second pool should be shallow enough for young children to walk around in.
On the whole though a good holiday.

The rooms are basic but do the job.

we all thought this hotel was good ,handy for all the good nightclubs and bars,we was a bit put out when we were told we were staying in the annexes and not the main hotel but in the end we were glad as people had to wait such a long time for the lifts,
As the weather was awful we were very glad to have such good heating in our room, room was small but ok very clean,
Food was fine always found something nice to eat.
Didnt really talk to any staff so cant say anything about them..
Same goes about the entertainment as never stayed in to watch it,too much going on eles where.

This was accommodation on arrival so we were pleased when we were allocated this hotel. I realised as it was a Spanish chain there would be a lot of Spaniards there and they would be the ones that would be catered for and I was right.

It has one large block and several small annexes set around the pool. We stayed in one of the annexes and had a large room and bathroom. We did hear complaints that some of the roooms were small. It was well furnished with TV, mainly Spanish, ITV, BBC, Sky news channels. Very clean, towels changed at your request.

The food was OK there was always something to eat, but again very Spanish. There were snacks available when the restaurant was shut. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chips and toasties up until 11pm. The drinks side was was nuisance with everything had to be signed for even a glass of water. Strictly two drinks at a time or what ever your party size was. AI was house drinks not branded spirits or bottled beer as are all the AIs. You needed to carry a card at all times.

People on half board could upgrade for

I and my parents stayed at this Hotel in December 2003 for the Christmas and New Year Period. We will NOT be staying there ever again.

The Hotel Complex consists of one very tall tower block, 16 floors in total, and five smaller annexes. We were told by our fellow guests that the smaller annexes are subject to being broken into on a regular basis. So if you find yourself in one of the annexes, ask to be moved to the tower.

There are two service/staff lifts at the other end of the corridor that no one seemed to know about, so to avoid queuing for the guest lifts, walk up one flight of stairs, and then all the way along the corridor, at the end turn right and you will see them. They are very plain lifts, and a bit dirty and dingy but they work and are a little faster that the main guest lifts, which you can find yourself queuing for a long time for.

Food was absolute rubbish. Luke warm dishes and almost the same menu for every night of our 21 night stay. There wasn't any cheese served with the salad dishes, you have to ask for that if you wanted it, or stow some away from the breakfast menu.

Dining room staff very rude and unhelpful. Especially the Senior ENGLISH waitress, she is the short one....VERY, VERY rude and arrogant and she ought to be ashamed of herself.

Entertainment, VERY poor. Mainly catering for the Spanish as one would expect from a Spanish hotel chain. Morning Exercise was OK, and there were various competitions you can take part in, but that

We stayed there from 6-13 September 2003.

The hotel itself is lovely, newly decorated and clean. The food choices were good, no complaints at all especially the breakfasts. The staff were friendly and helpful, the surroundings clean, pools good, bars good and stocked with 'English' drinks like Smirnoff Ice, WKD, Bacardi Breezers, Strongbow, Guinness etc Didn't see any of the entertainment but when walking past they certainly got a good crowd in - looked like a good kids club/daytime entertainment too.

The rooms were well furnished, air conditioning was excellent (as it was still really hot ), always hot water too! The only complaint we had was that we were in one of the outer buildings and the walls were paper thin, you can hear everything being said next door, even when people are speaking quietly. Plus the balconies are very small.

But overall I'd give the hotel a good 8/10!

We Went All Inclusive Allocation on arrival and we were very really pleased with the Hotel.

Really glad we were not in the main building though as we have a two year old so we were please to be put on the 1st floor of the outer buildings.

Food was fine for us though not for our 2 year old as there was not much for kids to eat.

Our Room was cleaned every day and was quite big compared to other rooms - we had 4 single beds and a cot. Walls were paper thin and the noise of peoples toilets going off through the night was irritating.

Entertainment was great morning noon and night.

Pools and area nice and clean

People were still waiting for the sunbeds to be unlocked at 9.15 and if you didnt get one by 9.20 there was none left!

Def going to book here for next year and would give this 9/10

Our family stayed at the Pueblo in Aug 03. We had a mega time.

The food was of good quality, however got fed up with the veal, it was nice but they grilled it, braised it, fried it you name it they did it, plenty of everything though. Got rather cramped in the dinning room though and tables were not set, had to shift stuff ourselves sometimes and go and ask for some cutlery.

The rooms were as stated and clean, the maids were in every day except Sundays. If you don't have a head for heights request a lower floor as it

Myself (27), partner (29) and son (7), stayed at this hotel after a last minute change from 28th June for 1 week. We stayed on a half board basis.

As we had changed our accomodation at short notice the staff were very accomodating providing us with lower floor room.

Hotel very clean, maid service daily, and staff always available and helpful. Food typical of spanish hotels, but no complaints.

The hotel has a games room downstairs with a mini bowling alley, pool tables etc. Hotel entertainment not bad although we spent most of the day away from the hotel as we were half board (the hotel also offers all inclusive).

the only complaint I have was the pools were both too deep at the shallow end for my son (he is a novice swimmer) and baby pool too small so he wore armbands most of time.

All in all we had a great time, although as a resort wouldnt return to Benidorm.

Hi
Returned on 21st January 2003
Hotel clean, rooms cleaned every day, bedding change 4 times in 2 weeks, towels changed as you want them, just leave them draped on bath side. Lifts very erratic.
Meal time Breakfast served 08.30 to 10.30
Evening Meal served 18.30 to 21.30
Self service, both breakfast and evening meal, full English if you want it, plenty of tea and coffee, fruit juice, food at evening meal very Spanish Orientated, but plenty, no free drinks served at evening meal, just beers or wine, you can pay for it as you leave or wait till end of holiday, but save bills they give you.
Hotel very handy for market, in fact all most in the market.

Short walk to plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. About 800 yards from sea front. We found the bar in the hotel not up to much for entertainment, singer and dancing, bar full of Spanish, who did'nt seem to us to be staying at the hotel, and if you go in the bar that you can get in from the street, don't play cards after 8pm. Did not seem to be much entertainment during the day, decent games room down stairs and Internet caf

Having visited this hotel five years ago, I was extremely disappointed with the standards that seemed to have dropped during this period.

The food standards which were excellent, were now STANDARD

An incident occurred when one of my party decided to have a go on one of the fruit machines, and after being on the machine for about 10 minutes, one of the staff came in very angrily and told him to get off it! It seemed that he had been playing on it before ,and had gone to get some change

On complaining, the member of my party was given a SHRUG!

Not what you expect.

Several other guests were unhappy, especially the all-inclusive guests who, were forced to wait for long periods at the BAR

All in all the standards seemed to have slipped, and perhaps Staff Training would be in order.
