Get a room on highest floor possible, keep way from first floor as they put the German, Dutch and Belgium youths in there.
Do not stay here.. Worst ever so called hotel I have stayed in

Take an empty water bottle with you down to breakfast and fill it up, saving you having to buy water for the day.

resort cleanliness was good,hardly anything on the streets resort entertainment outside the hotel was fair,if you dont mind a small local bus ride and your under 30! beach was very clean although people were drinking on there with glass bottles and no-body said anything to them,overall i wont be visiting the resort again.

Off season, but had been here before last September. Clean and tidy with lots of typical Spanish style. Maybe a little commercialised.

resort was clean, most places were not open and were not that busy as at the time we went it wasnt in season. the beach is lovely.

If you fancy a change of scenery, I would definately recommend Paula's which is the tapa's bar across the road from the Royal Beach hotel, where the food is AWESOME and Antonio (the owner) is such a friendly guy.
All in all no complaints except that most of the centre of Lloret was closed, but it is early in the season.

Resort was very quiet as it was February and there were very few shops or restaurants open....mainly supermarkets.

quite a lot going on for febuary enough to keep you busy for a few days anyway.
lots of public buses so no problem visiting other resorts.
all in all a good value for money off season resort.
nice clean beaches lots of shops, restraunts ,tapas bars ,
even english pubs if you wanted.

This was off season so we didnt expect a lot to be open but with what there was we had a ball. Bravehearts is now leased by a cockney couple and instead of being a Scottish Bar is becoming an International Bar. We were centred on Rabbies Bar (the gahg hut) where the Burns syupper and golf tournament took place. thanks to Hammy (the owner) Linda, Gary and colin.
The best bit of all is that while back home was shivering we had lovely warm sunshine.

We love Lloret for its scenery, the cliffside walks are superb. There is also a fascinating museum and the old town is enjoyable, It's a good location for visting other palces too, Gerona and Barcelona are easy to reach by bus.
We stayed in Fenals (just outside the main town) so cannot comment on the night-life.
The beaches are shingle and shelve steeply into the sea but are kept clean.
Lloret has a reputation as "Blackpool in the sun" and there are a lot of "stag and hen" venues but if you don't want that kind of thing you can avoid it by doing a bit of research.

Fell in love with LLoret in 1998 and Ive been coming back nearly every year since.
This year Most of the people that came had never been before and they had heard horror stories but all said they would come back and probably are doing this year.
This year we stayed in the Fenals area both times which is the quiet suburb next to Lloret but only a short walk into the main town.
LLoret is a busy place especially during summer and caters for all nationalities not just British in fact I think the british are a minority here. Theres lots of pubs bars nightclubs and restaurants so everyone should find something that suits them.
The beach is a good size and is man made out of a shingle type sand. as its man made the sea does shelve quite steeply into deep water so I wouldnt recommend it for young children to play in as the waves can break quite hard close in.
The resort is very clean and you can see them power washing the pavements if your up early enough.
All in all a good fun resort which is good value.

ther were plenty of bars and restrants with discos and karoke did not see much live entertainment
