The hotel provided excellent value for money. May be worth considering paying a little extra for a pool/sea view although we did not do this and the room was fine.

the resort was fairly clean, there was always someone to clean up and the tables and bar and room was cleaned every day which was good. Entertainment was the most dissapointing thing, the only so called entertainment we had was a dj but thats not what sort of entertainment you go on holiday to enjoy, and that was only for 2 nights, we found that we were watching tv too many times on a holiday, lack of reps. unfortunately the beach was cold, it was a lovely beach but as we tried to have a romantic walk along the seashore, we got blown off which was a shame but thats cos we went at the wrong time of year for the hot spanish weather.

The resort is lovely, something for everyone. From Italian restaurants to British bars. There's a tobacco shop, some good supermarkets which sell alchohol which is quite cheap. There is a minitrain the runs from Malgrat to Santa Susanna, and also a train that runs round the back of Malgrat (worth a try you see the real bits other than the seafront), and a train that runs round the back of Santa Susanna which is lovely as it takes you up this hill and you have a fantastic view over the resorts. I think there are a couple of markets that run in various places throughout the week. Overall the resort feels really safe. You can also get the main train to Blanes, Barcelona, Pineda, Calella etc, we used it to go to Blanes and it's a fast easy to use service and again feels safe. We did hear stories of two muggings on the train to Barcelona, apparently the people responsible ask to borrow something (not sure what, maybe a lighter, or a pen etc.) so that you open your bag then next thing you know they have run off with the contents, so this may be one to watch on the train to Barcelona. Beach right over the road from the hotel and it is a really nice beach although i think the sea can be strong at times. You do have to cross under the subway if you want to take the quickest way to the beach, i'll admit it's covered with graffiti inside and can look seriously intimidating but in all the times we've gone under it it has been absolutely fine. There is another way onto the beach if you follow it down to the left from the hotel and then you can turn right under a bridge type thing.

the beach was all stoney, not very nice to walk, was very clean but there were not water sports or anything i.e. jet ski or even pedal boats... however the place had much to do, many bars a couple of pubs, many restaurants and not far from the city. (Barcelona)

As already stated elsewhere the beach is very coarse sand but if you have young children I would stay well clear of this stretch of the spanish coast as the gradient into the water is very very steep I mean at 10 feet out you are in 6feet of water with a very strong current this area is not safe for swimmers

beach is 50m from hotel using underpass to go under railway line.resort clean and tidy,entertainment at most hotels each night.you can get a train to barcelona for 640euro return,train station short 10min walk from resort.

The one fact that every other contributor to this site has not mentioned is the fact that the main railway line going to Barcelona is immediately outside the front of the hotel! I cannot believe that no one has mentioned this fact. Many of the trains sound their hooters during the night and all day!

i would stay in this resort again, only if i found a higher standard of hotel, the resort was loud, and was not upto the standard of majorca.

The resort itself is quite busy , plenty of shops , lots of hotels and within easy walking distance to other areas ,something for everyone along the stretch .
Beach is fine no complaints there
and id consider visitng this resort again for a more spanish feel than some areas of spain

As we were on a family holiday we didn't really experience much in the way of resort entertainment but the couple of English bars we visited were friendly.
We didn't find the resort particularly child-friendly with many shop-keepers etc. displaying impatience and almost rudeness in some cases.

The only thing i can really complain about is the amount of jelly fish in the sea, but then again that cant be helped.
The area is excellent, the clubs are fantastic me and the rest of the people i went with had an excellent time. Me and my boyfriend went to the clubs quite a few nights whilst we was there and i would recomend "Club QK" There is another club that me and my boyfriend enjoyed although i cant remember the name off it but it was just 2 minutes away from the hotel and all the staff in there were great.
