is also run like clockwork. Maybe in high season you will have to queue but it is worth the wait.

A couple of things I don\'t like: First is the ratio of parasols to beds at pool side. There are more than enough beds but parasols are sadly lacking. Thus I had to rise at \"stupid o\'clock\" in order to make sure we had one for our baby. (And NO - We weren\'t one of the selfish people who claim a bed then don\'t use it!!)

Second is the lifts in the Med building. Slmall and sometimes unreliable. Pain in the bum when you have a room on the 7th (top) floor (which we always ask for as the views are fantastic)

Entertainment is first class given the facilities.
During our stays at Bali the Spanis Animacion team was run by the wonderful Olga and Fernando. They have been ably assisted by other enthusiastic staff. They are on site from 10am to be in charge of the Archery, Pistol/Rifle shooting etc and yet still put on a full evenings entertainment.Consequently they can be at Bali from 10am to 1am. Yet ALWAYS they smile :)

Sadly Olga no longer works at Bali and Fernando now works on reception at the Hotel. A sad loss for guests old and new.

We have tried to book a half term holiday in May 2008 but the half board option has already sold out. This is a reflection on the standard of this excellent FAMILY hotel.

second to none and great with the kids, I wouldnt like to hazard a guess at how many hours per week they put in!!!

The hotel entertainment was very varied with mini disco for the kids and good shows after,wich the hotel entertainment staff performed.

on weight while staying here!!! If you are going on an early trip you can order an early breakfast. Also when we arrived at the hotel at around 10 pm a light supper had been prepared for us.

Hotel location was excellent - the hill is really very small. If you walk straight down you will come to the beach and can walk along to the marina. There is also a bus stop at the bottom of the hill. You can go to fuengirola, mijas and tivoli world from here.

think the hotel should bar this selfish attitude as these people obviously have no respect for anyone else except themselves). The pool areas are cleaned every night(there is also small plastic ashtrays available in the cafe part to bring out (of course the towel morons are probably the ones who couldnt be bothered to get an ashtray as they have no respect for others-see above about sunbed hogging)and the sunbeds placed in an orderly fashion till the towel morons get there in the early hours.

My advice is if you go to find a sunbed and no one comes to their towel within a hour or so just throw it on the floor.

Whilst the food offered a good choice I dont know how people on here can say it was excellent (god knows what they eat at home because it was in my view very undercooked and disgusting to eat making you feel sickly every time you ate in the morning (I ended up having just boiled egg on toast every day and got fed up of it). The bacon and fried eggs were swimming with oil as well as the bacon being raw pink (maybe its just the way they like it). The beans were cold all the time and my daughter is 10 years old and she would usually eat anything but even she hated going down for breakfast or evening meals (we only ate in two nights out of fourteen eating out all the other nights). My daughter only ate cereals really yet if you got to the Sunnyview cafe the food you pay for in there is quite good (would advise you just to have cereal then go to the cafe when it opens for a bacon and cheese roll-bacon is nice in there or burger and chips etc).

The hotel location is excellent and it is only a couple of minutes up the hill so quite easy to do after a couple of times. Central to beach, marina, pubs and shops. Hotel staff are excellent friendly and very helpful and the entertainment was ok in the day with games and activities by the pool though the kids clubs are at stupid times in the afternoon usually meaning that if your kids go to them you are stuck in the hotel nearly all of the day (which is ok if you have your towel on a bed for the late afternoon-idiots)but at night it is rubbish.

Mini disco (same songs in same order every night at 8.30) then very cheaply done entertainment mainly by the same staff who do the games in the day which never starts till 10.30pm and silly things like big brother?

Reps are sometimes helpful but I tend to think that if you havent booked any of their expensive days out they are not interested in you.

We were told our bus would arrive to collect us between 6.30pm and 7.15pm so we were in the hotel reception area till about 6.55 then went outside to see if there was any sign of it, but at 7.20 it hadnt turned up so I went in and asked the rep,who said we must of missed it, no one came to tell us it was here and the rep was very unhelpful saying we would have to make our own way by taxi (which we did) so reps are really very ignorant and unhelpful.

Would visit the area again in a couple of years but never stay at this place again.
