13 nights here, over the Xmas and New Year. Gala meals excellent, the regular meals a bit repetitious but the free wine on tap makes up for that. Free to everybody, not just A/I. Good hotel and will be back next Xmas.

My family & I spent 2 weeks all inclusive at the Gardenia Park. Had a really enjoyable holiday. The hotel is very clean. We had a family room, i believe these are the same as twin but with an additional bedroom, so there was plenty of room for the 4 of us.
Food: When the restaurant isn't serving the main meals there are snacks available. I thought the food was ok although a bit repetative but my husband didn't get on with the main restaurant at all so he ate at snack times (he is a fussy eater anyway).
Entertainment: Day & evening entainment was really good. Games for kids and adults during the day although if you didn't want to take part there was plenty of grass areas to relax and also the pool area. This area did get busy at times and towels were out very early - although we didn't put ours out until we went for breakfast sometimes at 9.30 and there was always beds left.
Evening Entertainment: There is a kids club 9 - 11 pm every night except Wednesdays. 1 of the entertainments team takes the kids to the room near the park for 2 hours and play games; paint etc. There are also a couply of kids shows on with the Parott Show and Reptile Show (be careful as you can't take your own photos but you can buy there's - 10E each) I won bingo twice whilst there - 281Euros & 242Euros.
I did have an accident in the restaurant with hot tea and ended up at hospital but the Staff really looked after me and organised the Doctor to come and arrange for me to go to the hospital - do need lots of euros and good insurance - we had to pay for everything up front then claim it back when we got home. That did put a damper on the holiday for me as the tea burnt my stomach i had a dressing on for the rest of my holiday (7 days) but the hotel staff did keep checking on me and were very helpful.
Torrablance train station is near by and very cheap for getting up and down the coast. Would highly recommend a trip to Tivoli World in Benalmadina. Buy wrist bands though as they work out cheaper if you are going on lots of rides - kids under a certain height limit have to be accompanied on a 1:1 ratio so if you have two small children it will cost as each adult has to pay as well
I could go on...... all in all would we go back - definately. The kids are already asking when we can book!

Just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend in the Gardenia Park, Torreblanca, Fuengirola and can say that it was sheer heaven.

Have traveled most of the coast of costa brava so thought id more or less know what to expect. What a mistake, this is one of the most beautiful coastlines I have seen.

The hotel is of an excellent standard, the staff are friendly, the rooms are spotless with daily maid service, the balconies not only look onto the pool but also the sea, and all you have to do is walk out the back gate and your on the beach, which is stunning.

The pool is lovely with a separate for the kids and even a heated indoor and jacuzzi/steam room. There is plenty of choice on the food menu, always meat and fish of different varieties, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

There is bingo on at the start of the evening to kick of the varied entertainment following the kids disco then a different act every night. I was in no way let down by this accommodation,

We were 2 couples all between 64 and 70 years of age. The hotel and staff were very good. There are ample sun loungers and brollies.

The nighttime entertainment (every night)was held in the Victoria lounge which was not large enough for everyone. If you want to see the shows you had to get in early. We enjoyed this holiday but the only downside was the all male and all female groups of younger people who had no manners.

They would drink all day and night and throw all their plastic cups on the ground rather than in the litter bins provided which meant a waiter would have to go round every evening to collect 2 sackfuls of their litter.

Some of the drunken louts would also drop their shorts for a 'laugh' and could be seen often on their balconies naked.

we had a good holiday here as hotel was very clean and our room cleaned very well every day. some staff were grumpy with some guests but as long as you were polite and smiled then they would remember you and would then always be curteous to you.they all worked very hard.

even the fussiest of eaters could find something to eat. chef always out checking to see what needed topping up. saw manager in restaurant most mealtimes checking food etc and he was often walking around hotel checking everything was ok never seen that before not to that extent.

beach is reached by the gate through the gardens at the back of the hotel, gate is locked at 11 o`clock at night for security.

we didnt get to see any of the evening entertainment as the room that it was in is too small and was always full when we got there.

the only downside to this hotel was the number of stag and hen parties there. yes we were there when they were standing on their balcony starkers and were jumping into pool with all their clothes on after the pool was closed and throwing plastic cups about. not nice for the families there.

met some lovely spanish families although also some arrogant ones. did meet some brits who thought it was a crime to go out and buy drinks at local bars as we were a/i!! would not have liked to have stopped here in august would be too busy and overcrowded.

scales are left at reps desk for you to check the weight of your cases. good idea.
