Food was great. There was even free happy hour drinks and finger foods at the bar (found out only by accident on our 3rd night of stay)! Lots of sun lounger outside. The hotel overall is really equivalent to a 4 star hotel.
Only minor complaints : bed is not comfortable especially the double bed; only 1 long pillow for the both of us.
Free towels available at poolside (pool attendant difficult to find); but if you want to use indoor pool, must get towels from the pool attendant outside (if you can find him).

We stayed here in Feb,and were impressed by the quality of the Hotel,really clean,lovely breakfast and excellent spa area.We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the Marina at Benalmadena and even in Feb it was a lovely walk along the Promanade.The location of the hotel is stunning right on the beach with plenty of beach bars nears for a good value lunch.Will defineatley be visiting again next year.

This hotel is first class. The interior is extremely tasteful. It is scrupulously clean, food to die for, practically on the beach (separated by a narrow promenade) and the staff very attentive. They keep a low profile, but are always available when needed. My husband and I went in April 2002, April 2003 and we are returning in September this year.
It's situated in the La Carihuela area about half way between the centres of Torremolinos and Benalmadena (only a 15-20 minute walk along the promenade to the beautiful marina at Benalmadena). This is the best 4 star hotel I have stayed in. It's fabulous.
