I stayed half board in the cervantes in may 2006 and found it very clean.
The food was good without being classed as very good.
The hotel is within 100yds of the station and bus terminal making it great for getting about.
The staff were efficient without being too pleasant.
I found the entertainment poor.
I will visit this hotel again on my return to Torremolinos

While this hotel is of good standard, in my opinion it is not a 4 star hotel but a good 3 star.
There are no coffee making facilities or fridge in the room which i feel a 4 star hotel should have. There is a charge for the safe in the room and also a charge for parking in the hotel car park which is not made clear in the description of the hotel.
The roof pool is very handy when the weather is not too great. Food very good. Although we had a good time it is not my idea of a 4 star which is why I wouldnt return.

We stayed at Hotel Cervantes for a long weekend break. The hotel is very spacious and spotlessly clean.
We stayed half-board and found the breakfasts acceptable, although a little repetitive - the usual cold meats, fruit yoghurts, cereals and English egg and bacon in a buffet style. The dinners were very good. High quality food such as veal, smoked salmon, beef, fish and chicken. Very nicely presented and, again, spotlessly clean.
The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful, considering we had a disaster with our car hire, which they helped us with altough it was not their problem.
The entertainment was OK if you are aged 70+ with a duet playing oldie tunes - they loved it!!
Would definitely recommend the happy hour from 7-8pm in the bar. The drinks are buy-one-get-one-free and we bought a gin and tonic (twice), white wine (twice), vodka and tonic (twice) and a brandy (twice) and it worked out to less than

This is a lovely hotel right in the centre of Town with a pleasant downhill walk to the beach. I go to Torremollinos every 6 to eight weeks and always stay at this hotel for long weekends of 4 or 5 days.
The rooms are quite large and all have balconies and although the rooms seem dated they are absoloutely spotlessly clean and quite pleasamt on a sunny day.
Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of cereals fruits yogurts as wellas fried food on offer.
With the Calle Sann Miguel two miutes walk away this hotel is a shoppers dream come true! I have stayed there six times so that says it all!!!!

Stayed in this hotel for 4 days last week and enjoyed it.
The hotel is very clean and mostly marble flooring, can be slippery especially around the hotel in the morning when they water the local area.
Breakfast was fairly Spanish hotel style, as described in other reviews.
The hotel was very near to the local shop/entertainment area and a fair walk to the beach by the main road or down the steps down the cliff face which has a lift for three quarters of the way which costs .30 euros per trip which only runs from 9am to 1.15 and 2pm to 6pm (or thereabouts) other than that its a taxi job to the hotel.
Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel.

Hotel was very clean and spacious. We only stayed B&B so can only comment on the breakfast. It was served in a large room, very clean and lots of choice. Tables were cleaned regularly.
Buffet consisted of cereals, meats and cheese, breads, and full breakfast, boiled, fried and scrambled eggs. Lots of choice and all nicely set out. Tea,coffee and fruit juices available with a choice of flavoured teas.
Hotel was located very close to the main pedestrian area and within minutes walking distance of the beach and all restaurants and bars.
We did not see any entertainment in the hotel as we were out every night. The bar has a happy hour every night and was fairly busy and had a good atmoshpere from what we could see from the reception.

Spent Christmas 2003 in this Hotel for One week. Had a great time. The Xmas Gala Dinner on Xmas day was realy good. 5 courses including wine and entertainment and a sherry and canape reception before the Dinner. Cost

Stayed here as part of a cheap deal, hotel on allocation! what an excellent hotel, parents had huge double room with balcony and mine was a huge(for a single) room with balcony, food was excellent, staff were very good and evening meals where out of this world!

Booked into the Cervantes for a weekend break in January.Ideal as an off season venue as it is very central to all amenaties.Stayed for 4 nights and hotel met all expectations,very clean and well worth a visit.
