We had apartment on ground floor next to the small pool. It was very quiet. There is a small garden to sit in as well.

The resort was better than I expected although there was some dog dirt on the streets where isnt there these days? For the most part I thought the area was as clean as it can be considering the vast amount of visitors. the transport system was very good and the trains were very clean and reliable. Plenty of places to eat out and lots of bars some for the youngsters and others for the rest of us! Including families too. The beach looked clean enough and was certainly popular, not being into sunbathing much i cant say what it was like apart from as an onlooker on our many lovely walks to benalmadena.

This resort is your typical spanish holiday and we loved it! I know its all very high rise but there is SO much to do and so many places to eat etc - I would definatley go back.
Torremolinos is the quieter part of the Costa del Sol. Not as much going on as there is in Benalmadena or Fuengirola but a good shopping centre on the Calle Miguel. There are a few bars worthy of a visit but not a clubbers scene more of a family resort.
The resort was busy and people friendly but not a lot for evening entertainment to suit families. Lots of discos and pubs but no cabaret bars.Beach area was very clean and pleasant but it was an exhausting walk back up to town centre. The main square was a rip off 4.50 euros for a vodka and coke, 2.00 euros for a san miguel. We got 6 bottle pack in supermarket for 1.94euros.
The resort had graffiti all over walls and beach huts, and beach front restaurants were being pulled down and dismantled.
There was only 1 bar which opened within the immediate area and that then decided to close during the week due to lack of custom, not that we went there as we were too ill but we did hear this was the case.
And the beach was filthy. I definitely would not go back.

In the Winter it can be 80 degrees sunshine or wet and cold. We have spent 2 christmas's in torremolinos and enjoyed the walks, the restuarants and the general ambiance of being in spain at christmas.
