We only had a day at this delightful hotel and unfortunately we had a three hour delay in our flight. We had booked a corner deluxe executive room as I just had to see the amazing bathroom! When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to the Premier deluxe room.
The staff were all very efficient and welcoming. They obviously have to make a point of knowing everyone's name (I would be sacked as I have really bad memory!). The hotel is directly linked to the sky-train so it is easy to get around and it is only one stop to the tourist boat.
The infinity pool is spectacular. I love the seats around it. If you are at executive level you get, among other things:
Complimentary breakfast daily from 6:00 - 11:00 hrs.
Coffee, tea, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day.
Open bar including wine, beer, spirits and cocktails from 17:30 - 19:30 hrs.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cocktails from 17:30 -19:30 hrs.
Free internet.
3 pieces of laundry per day.
The food and drink in the executive lounge was first class. Great view of Bangkok. We did have a quick breakfast there as we were leaving to catch a flight in the morning. Very nice.
We ate next door at the Blue Elephant. I have been to lots of restaurants in Bangkok and this would rate at or very close to the top. It looks like we will have another stay next summer. The Landmark is no longer my first choice.
