streets round hotel not impressive at all, rubbish everywhere, its a shame it really is that the authorities allow this sort of thing in a tourist area.

entertainment in the hotel 5 star.

beach - horrendous, strewn with rubbish, watch your feet on the make shift path, rotten wood makes walking difficult unless you are paying attention. paying 6 dinar for a bed was a joke, the mattress, the smell, the state, horrendous and remember it the bel air "private beach"

we wouldnt return there. nope, definetely not.

hammamet is only a small town with very little to do the newly built jasmine hammamet looks much better for a holiday being purposly built for that reason with lots more to see and do.hammamet was niether clean nor dirty it was like any other town around the world with litter stray cats, dogs and half finnished buildings, the beaches where as clean as expected, but it is us who are responsible for taking our rubbish away with us and lets face it not all of us do,the sand was soft and the sea was warm, clear and safe for swimming and snorkling even my partener went in up to her neck(a none swimmer)
but to end this report on the 'would you go again' issue the answer has to be no and the only reason for not returning is that after lazing in the sun all day drinking cool drinks under the blasing sun there is nothing to do in the evening except sit in the bar and have a beer or go to bed and read or watch tv i do that every day i'm at home and wanted there to be more so i couldn't say 'no' but there isn't and won't be because of the newly built jasmine hammamet where i'll be going in a few months

Like the resort. Places to eat were great and people were nice. Didnt like how many cats there were when trying to eat lunch and dinner and waiters never tried to move them on. The tiger cub at carthage land was just amaing.

we went on the two day desert safari which was great value for money but very tiring (600+ miles on a coach).
First time in Tunisia and was impressed.

we found yasmine hammammet cleaner this year as a lot of the work on the main paths and promanade have been finished there is still a lot of building work going on but overall the resort is clean. there is not a lot of night life for teenagers so we would recommend it for families who like a nice meal, stroll and a few goes on a bouncy castle there are not a lot of pubs mostly restuarants with bars.the beach is nice but manmade there is sea weed in the sea but mostly in shallow water the sand is nice. this is a safe resort for you to venture outside of you hotel ladies are quiet safe but dress sensibly and you will be left alone it is a tourist resort and has a low crime rate. yes everyone gets a bit of hassle 'come and look in my shop' there are lots of them all selling the same but just say no thank-you and walk on.we will be going back again next year and would recomend you try it .

can't really comment on the resort itself as we were all unwell and didn't really venture out and about although there is a large market on a friday in a nearby town which is only 5 dinar in a taxi. there was also a water park approx 15 mins from our hotel. there wasn't alot of shops near us but we were on the outskirts of the resort and again a taxi ride of approx 10 mins took you into the centre of the resort.

A safe and friendly resort to vist. Ok the Medina can be a bit off putting, you do get fed up being asked into shops to tell them how much an air conditioning unit would cost at home. Then as you are in the shop the hard sell starts, everyone gets caught but a polite no thank you seems to work.

A good choice of Cafes' and Resturants can be found all at a resonable price.

Lovely sandy beach and one year I will walk the whole way
from Jasmine to the Old Town.

Found some of the streets were very dirty and poorly maintained, also badly lit in the area we stayed. Lots of nightclubs around this area
There was enough local shops to visit, some pricier than others.
I loved the beach which had loads of water sports etc and also beach cafe's
Would visit Hammamet again
