Port el Kantaoui Hotels

Our hotel,The Maharba Palace,had its own section of beach, which was kept clean by the hotel staff,but i did notice that furter down the beach from us there was a lot of seaweed piled up on the shore.Apart from this it seemed quite clean.The port area was very clean and tidy,with no rubbish anywhere what we saw.Only entertainment we saw was in the hotel ,but it was very poor,Theres a pub over the road called the irish bar,but when we went to see what it was like,when i opened the door,it was wall to wall smoke,like the bar in the film Casablanca where you could barely make out the people.So that was a nono.Iwould still visit this resort again in spite of this,as it is so relaxing

There is not much to do in Port El Kantaoui. There is a fab shopping centre opposite the hotel. It is all reasonable prices too. We got a taxi down to the harbour. You can walk it, it takes about 25 minutes. The harbour is beautiful and you can walk back to the hotel along the beach. There is loads of restaurants all at reasonable prices and there is a good fun fair for all the family here too. We also got a taxi to Sousse which was lovely. The medina and market was massive!!!!
