Arrived home at 4.30 pm today
We stayed at The Royal Kenz for two weeks
As we had never been before we went with open minds.
The weather was really good although we did have a couple of days where it rained!
The hotel looked really clean and nice when we first arrived, but after a few days we began to noticed it was not as clean as we first thought.
The food was generally good although after two weeks it became a bit repetative and boring.
There were two nights when the food was not cooked we had some turkey that was raw and the couple next to us had some pork that was raw as well
Breakfast was the same everyday so after two weeks it was to much for us.
But overally we had a good holiday as we make the best of our holidays no matter what

we stayed at thhe royal kenz in november 2003 for 2 weeks, everthing was ok......just ok...........the beds though ugh ugh ugh, I didn't sleep for 2 weeks

Arrived home around 4:30 this morning from Tunisia.
We stayed at the Royal Kenz for two weeks.
The weather was really good even though we had a couple of cloudy days it didn't actually rain until yesterday, which was no problem for us as we were leaving for home.
I think others staying at this hotel will agree that the standard of this hotel has dropped. Food was never good in my opinion but its worse now and many people had bad stomachs.
Also it appears as from next year this hotel will not be a Thomson's Gold hotel.
We still like Tunisia and its people and will be returning again some time next year.

We found this hotel to be very good value for the price we had paid.
We had no problems with any of the facilities or staff the only exception being the very basic gym.
There are a lot of cats in the hotel grounds, as there are throughout Tunisia, but they are well looked after by the hotel who have the Tunisian branch of the RSPCA attend regularly.
I found the food to be OK but my wife did think it as good as at other gold hotels we have stayed at.
In all we have a good opinion of this hotel and intend to return this October.

This was the slowest dullest holiday ever.
While Tunisia is lovely there was nothing to do in this hotel at all after the pool closed.
The food was nice.
The location a little far out but I will never set foot back at the Kenz while they have the entertainment that Phoenix nights would be embarrassed to show

From the moment we arrived what can i say EXCELLENT.
The staff,cleanliness and general hotel was superb in every way and i wouldent hesitate in returning OR reccommending this hotel.
A short taxi OR tuk tuk ride from the harbour takes you to a lovely night out in a wonderfull town.
All i can say is GO GO GO you wont regret it HONRSTLY

My wife and I stayed at the royal Kenz in 2002, we had travelled with Thomson Gold on an all inclusive holiday. We arrived at 5.00am in time to see the hotel staff spraying the corridoors with cockroach spray, the smell was dreadful, from the outside the hotel looks spectacular, although once inside this feeling did not last, our room was dusty and stank of smoke, and the beds were unhabitable. The hotel food was of a very poor standard and on several occasions our meat was raw, we both suffered upset stomaches, as did quite a few other guests. Location was quite good close to beach and marina, hotel staff worked hard, and always willing to help. Thomson Gold staff deserve a medal they were fantastic, always their to help and entertain you.
