This was our first time to Tunisia, and we really enjoyed it.

We stayed 14 nights and found the hotel to be very nice, very clean and the staff are lovely.

The entertainment in the Hotel is the same each week, so by the second week we had seen it.

We went on the trip to the Sahara, and on an African Zulu night which was very good, and I would definitely recommend.

The food is very nice, but yes it is pretty much the same most nights. But there is always something to eat!

Hotel is 4 star, if you were stuck in the 80's!

I agree with other reviews, worth a visit but will never come back.

A word of warning, do not take the trip to the alleged leather factory. There is high pressure sales to buy goods at extortionate prices.

The hotel was vey clean. The maids worked long hours but always managed a smile. After visiting the hotel many times, I have got to know the staff very well.

The reception staff are nice but some of the staff in the restaurant and bars were extremely rude to people and were talking arabic in front of people thinking that us tourists wouldn't understand.

Well myself and my sister and friends do understand arabic and didnt take too kindly to the conversations. The barmen often forget to do their job and prefer to do nothing instead. Needless to say, no tips were given to these individuals.

I have to say the staff at the pool cant do enough for you. They made my holiday each year and because of them, they make me want to return year after year to base myself there when I visit my friends in Sousse.

The hotel reception is fantastic with very helpful staff at all times. The room was cleaned everyday thoroughly. Although the food was very good, there was not much choice for breakfast, but on the whole a wide variety to suit all tastes.

The hotel is situated in a location very accessible to all places. The beach is about 1min away and very clean. There were men who walked up and down the beach offering you anything from cigarettes to flowers but they are moved on quickly. There is not much to do in the evenings apart from the hotel entertainment which would not suit everybody.

On arrival the hotel looked very nice the porter who carried your cases was very pleasant and helpful the reception staff were not as pleasant and we had to wait as the rooms were not ready.

We were on half board and although the food was not fantastic we always found something to eat however 4/5 days into our holiday I was diagnosed as suffering from colitis. The doctor was called and everyone was very helpful and caring it did not spoil the holiday I would advise you take Immodium plus they did the trick.

The hotel was very clean the maids go around both inside and out all day and night linen changed every day as were towels beware that there are no pool towels. There is no fridge or tea making facilities in the rooms and we asked about hiring a kettle and we could not we did learn near the end of the holiday we could have hired a fridge.

There are shops and a few bars around the hotel and the beach is not far however after one shopping trip we stayed in the hotel I could not stand being harassed all the time off shop owners and I felt a little threatened.

The waiters are very good and attentive I also found the pool staff very helpful and attentive for a small tip which becomes habit.

The entertainment was terrible but they did try.

The only reason I would visit this hotel again is if I wanted a cheap week in the sun as the weather was fabulous but I think we would go with another couple to entertain our selves at night.

The hotel was looking a little tired when we arrived, through the week it was getting its' spring clean with painters and decorators busy. The rooms were standard North African fare, functional rather than fabulous. The food was acceptable, if you take the approach that you can eat out for very reasonable prices and that you aren't paying a lot for the hotel food than it becomes more palatable. The hotel staff are more attentive if you tip, small but regular keeps them alert. Entertainment this early in the season was never going to be great, later in the year there is more of it and it is better organised. Luckily we fell in with some fellow guests and made our own entertainment in local bars and restaraunts. Look it is cheap and cheerful, you could do a lot worse, plus some touches are excellent, in-door pool, lobby area, showers are most powerfull in any hotel I have been in.

The food is horrible, especially if like me you're vegetarian, you will find very little choice and I lived on soup and salad for the entire week.

The hotel itself is very clean but there is little in the way of entertainment, the hotels very own nightclub, billed as 'the largest in Africa' is smaller than my local social club and about as entertaining!

The staff are unfriendly and always after a tip for just about everything.

You can't go out at night because of the hassle from the local men and with just 2 women in our party it was sparticularly intimididating.

I wouldn't go back here if you paid me!

The hotel itself is fine. It is clean, the staff are helpful and attentive, and the food is hot and well presented and tastes fine if a bit repetitive.

The location of the Hotel is only five minutes walk from the beach and near a full range of shops and small restaurants, unfortunately during February very few of them are open and the few that are tend to be deserted. You may find yourself in a bar and be the only ones there.

The hotel Staff are friendly and attentive and nothing seems to be any problem. However be aware they expect a tip after every transaction at the bar so the best way to avoid tipping every time is to pay for all your drinks at the end. This isn

The food was clearly re-cycled and it was fairly predictable what you were going to have for breakfast (i.e. if the lightly roasted potatoes weren't eaten in the evening meal, they were well-roasted for the morning!) I was a vegetarian, so had even less choice than most, surviving on rolls, salad & cheese for most of the holiday.

The room was ok for a week. The toilet had a big brown water streak down the back of it and quite frankly smelt awful on entering the wc first time but again, we could live with it - for a week.

The entertainment was well... entertaining - IF you were over 70ish, ball-room style dancing...

Drinks are expensive - muslim country and all that. The local brew (lager) is an experience, but don't think that you'll be able to drink much of it as it doesn't taste that good.

The outdoor pool was freezing. My son jumped in it the first day we arrived and jumped out again much quicker. The indoor spa pool is lovely and hot like bath water but there's a black layer of silt all around it which can get under your nails if you don't go careful.

The reception staff were more interested in French speaking guests and business men than helping 'loopy' English people, one of the guests staying the same time as us was actually told that (in a hand signalling motion.) One dinar tip and you'll be waited on for hours though.

Afternoon tea in the piano bar was good value and at least you got to swap stories with fellow loopy English!

A trip to the Sahara was our saving grace. A long hard few days away but sitting on a coach was better entertainment than sitting around the freezing pool. Beware though - the camels smell and the people who lead them want tips for everything.
